A game littered with three goalkeeping errors! Abbiati should maybe have done much better. Milan will be gutted - luckily for them Ajax lost in France so if Milan win in France and Real do the business in Holland (both likely) then they are still through. But a golden chance tonight. Credit to Allegri for good substitutions and Inzaghi for a classic performance though. Btw Ed, your a football man What do you make of Marcelo. Can you name a better Brazilian LB right now? Not even in the squad for the ARG friendly and only 6 caps to his name since 2006.

what a crazy game, if it wasnt for the over all poor performance of Calcio I would not care that much. however Calcio is falling from grace and I like milan am gutted after that last minute goal. though Ill watch europa my mind will not stray from the Derby. a win there and I wont give two shits about any of the standings. Forza Lazio! Forza Lazio! Forza Lazio!

Draw probably about right to be fair, some good chances for both sides although conceeding a goal at the death will inevitably feel like a defeat and they should have done everything to get that ball away from that box with seconds to go.
Ibra should have buried one of those in the first, Inzaghi showed him the way to go in the second. The Ajax defeat is a a blessing, Auxerre won't be going anywhere in this group but Milan will have to win in France.
Yes, Marcello gave a good account of himself. Even though Michel Bastos has become accustomed to a more advanced role I like him down the flank as well. What's strange is that neither of them are in the squad, nor Hernanes, nor Nilmar of Villareal either. Strange to say the least.

Easily out played by a far superior side. When Iniesta and Xavi begin the passing carousel they will spin the opposition to death. Sumptuous finish from Villa as well.

beautiful finishes all around. the only real debate about this game my friends and I had was weather ManU played bad or if Barca just made them look that bad.
I think it was the latter. ManU just can not play a team that goes at them that offensively with that level of strikers, add to that Busquets and Pique

In my opinion Man Utd were not allowed to play, Barca responded well to the Rooney goal as opposed to their defeat against Arsenal earlier this season, when they were leading quite easily and then collapsed somewhat. There is just too much quality in this current Barca side for any team right now. The question now is whether they can emulate the Milan side of the 90s that had back to back European Cup wins. Won't be easy to do however.

Watching these kind of games I often wonder how it would feel to be a Barca fan.

Barca fans don't know the emotions and qualities of true soccer fans as well as other glory hunters. The fans of these top teams expect wins all the time. It's like imagining what it would be like to be prince Charles , where he doesn't know the real world and their struggles, only luxuries. Im happily a Lazio fan and always glad that i didn't end up being a glory hunter ( roman as merda fans). All of our surprising accomplishments like winning coppa, supercoppa, and say if we did qualify for champions league would have been more appreciated than barca or manu fans winning champions as it is not really a big surprise.

Of course Barca supporters expect wins all the time. What choice do they have supporting the best team in the world? Duh?!? It does not make them any less true. Glory hunters are a different breed altogether.
