I noticed we don't have a La Liga thread on the site, so I thought I'd create one.

Currently watching Athletic v Barca 1-1 at the mo. Stunning Barca goal, great through ball by Xavi in which Alves swept home. Athletic leveled though, well taken goal.

Good on ya

Llorente is a terrific player. World Class... deserves a place in the WC squad instead of the likes of Guiza. Llorente isn't greedy however and appreciates the fact it's Bilbao that made him. He is one of my favourite La Liga players, Bilbao are a credit to European football as well, they have principles and stick to them.

0-0 in El Clasico... the game is a bit fast

What a game! 1-0 Barca! Outplayed Real with less men... thoroughly deserved.

Epic performances by a hell of a lot of people... my MVP goes to Puyol however.... I have never seen defending like that in my entire life.

I agree but I must say that I was impressed by the whole back line of Barca in this game!Pique, Alves...even Abidal was fenomenal in this match!
Leo the king was making me breathless like always every time he had the ball in his legs! what a match it was! I must admit that Real is far better than last year but WE(by that I mean Barca) still have the heart of true champions!

Andres Iniesta was left incensed after Cristiano Ronaldo told him to stop diving during Barcelona's 1-0 win over rivals Real Madrid in El Clasico.

"It annoyed me that Cristiano told me not to dive because he is not exactly the best person to tell anyone that," the Barca ace told Onda Cero radio station.
