Final day of La Liga as well. If Barca win, they win the title. At home to Valladolid? Gonna happen! Without question they play the best football the world has ever seen, good on them for defending their title.
Btw, almost a fairytale story in this league as well. After 92 and a half minutes yesterday, little Real Mallorca were about to finish 4th... but Sevilla scored a last last last gasp goal to put them 4th instead. That would have been miraculous. The equivalent is Catania coming 4th!

It would be unjust for Real to win to be honest. In both Classico's, especially the last one, they didnt hurt Barca at all.

After all the money spent last summer, Real must be very very dissappointed with their season even if they only finish a point behind.

Exactly. They didn't even score in either el Clasico. The mark of a good manager, is always, always, how you do in the 'big' games. Pellegrini has had a good season (90+ points is enough to win the league any season) but when it came to the crunch, he didn't deliver.

It'll be very interesting to see about Mou going there. Obviously he wants to coach RM.. but the quote I read today after the game is that it's not a forgone conclusion because he, shock horror, may feel a bit more at home in Serie A after all. We shall see.

Will Real appoint Mourinho? Wasn't Capello sacked for not playing attractive enough even though he delivered the title? Mourinho doesn't exactly play attractive football and in my opinion they should give Pellegrini another year but this is Florentino Perez were talking about so who knows.

David Villa has signed for Barca for 40 million from Valencia, what now for Ibrahimovic I wonder. Genuinly, I always thought Villa would end up at Madrid.

Well I can see how Hanry and Ibra leave Barca at this point. I read that he (Ibra) will be used as a bait to Arsenal in order to get Fabregas.

Raul leaves Real Madrid after 16 years. Just doesnt sound right really, and for him the idea of playing for another club must be really really strange. As of yet not signed for anyone.

Mourinho is a cock! What can I say.

I'm not entirely sure that you treat legends like that. Fair enough if the guy wants to play football, well, I guess there was no choice.. but why do I get the feeling this is a bit more then that.. this is Mourinho wanting to put a mark on the team and show everyone who's boss... "if I can treat Raul like this, then no-one is safe."

Rather bewilderingly, Schalke are one of the front runners. Such a left-field transfer.
