The site is actually based on a server in the US .. the site developed by a Canadian yes .. but supported and kept alive by the true Lazio fans worldwide.

I don't think the MLS is really a great topic to be honest. I have tickets to go see Toronto FC vs. LA Galaxy (beckhams team). But the quality of football isn't the greatest... but its always fun to watch a match live with supporters.

Same. I have no idea how the team performs for the most part .. and don't go out of my way to ever check any scores in the MLS. But if I can get tickets .. its a great experience. My friend told me that Chelsea, Inter, AC and some other big team will be doing some tournament in Toronto .. not sure how much truth there is to that though, but it will be a battle to get tickets to those games if they ever came.

Would be nice if Lazio came to Toronto.

AC, Inter, Chelsea are involved in a tournament in the states in the summer that is for sure, but im not sure where all the games are being played. They are however not in a fixed location, so different fixtures will be played in different cities

Iwouldn't cross the street to see the Milans play! TFC is great entertainment and the stadium has great atmosphere. If your a fan of the sport, it's a great afternoon watching decent (though Latius is right - not consistently good) soccer. Hey, it fills the gap between May and September when my world is Lazioless and i feel wayward and empty.

Yeah that's a good way to put it, satisfies my soccer itch and it seems they have a decent team this year, would be nice to cheer on a competitive hometown team (pretty rare in Toronto these days).

I had free tickets from my co-worker to see Toronto FC vs. Chicago today .. but bailed. Too much work to do and its absolutely shit weather today to sit through a TFC match.

Let me re-phrase ... I was offered a free ticket to go with a co-worker. If I had spare tickets .. i would definately pass them on.

nd TFC pulls a Lazio and gets whacked in their home opener to a new team. Even my the teams I casually support are falling apart.

I thought I would practice some thread necromancy here.

I went to a TFC game the other week (against Chicago fire) and had a pretty good time. Not the highest quality football (not by any standards), but a great atmosphere and dedicated fans. Though it is notable that there are about 12 different supporter firms...a takeover is really nessessary.

Also, there is only a South Curve, as the north of the stadium is the beer garden

I admittedly have a very tough time getting into MLS.  I enjoy going to TFC games because its probably the most passionate sports atmosphere in the city, but I have no desire to really follow the league closely at all.
