Firstly sorry if this is posted in the wrong section!

Was just viewing the Curva Nord page on Facebook and the picture below was posted on there showing a very retro looking Lazio shirt. Possibly the new home shirt for 2011/12? What do you all think?

I saw this a few weeks back but wasn't sure if it was legitimate. I sorta like it - it's got a certain simplicity and reminds me a bit of the 1974 kit we won our first scudetto with. boh?

I like it as well, as you said it's a throwback to the '74 shirt. The curva Nord Facebook page is making it out to be legit......just got to wait and see though I suppose. If it deffo is the new shirt I will be purchasing it

The throwback thing could be what theyre going for this season, as we are having dark blue shorts again, instead of white.

I kinda like it, im not sure yet, im sure itll grow, I love this seasons though.

Will be a definite purchase for me anyway, I even have the horrible one from last season with the white V thing around the neck!

Also kindof reminds me of the Holland 70s throwback. We should use the squared numbers too. Have to agree with you Peruzzi - must be white shorts to finish off the look right.

Why? Thats what we always used to have. Only in recent years have we had white, in fact ive got a photo of Stefano Fiore from the (I think) 2002 season with dark blue shorts and socks.

I like it.

Interesting to see what the away kit is like, whether that is as plain.

In our scudetto season of 73-74 we had white shorts.

That was an away kind of version, you know like Milan and Man Utd have when they play a team with white shorts. The dark blue shorts was only there for a couple of seasons, before we swapped to light blue for 2004-05.

Fair enough, I dont know the dates, but I know we had blue shorts for a while.

To be honest I prefer the white shorts too, I think it looks better, but it wouldnt bother me if we had blue.

2011/2012 kit will be revealed tomorrow at Piazza di Spagna. It will look like the one posted in this thread, I am sure. The resemblance to the 1974 scudetto kit is probably not a coincidence. In fact, for better or worse, it seems like a statement of intent for the coming season...

Will it be available for sale tomorrow too?

Unrelated, but when are the fixtures normally out. I need to know when we have 2 home games in a row before I book anything.

I do not know the answer to either one of your questions but I suppose the kit will not be available for sale on the day of its presentation and the fixtures will be out within the next few weeks.

Mid to end of July for the fixtures, if memory serves.

So excited to see new Lazio jerseys. I wanted to buy a Lazio jersey for some time.. 2 years ago jerseys were not my cup of tea and this previous seasons.. the white hangers on the blue jerseys absolutely killed it for me buying it. I hope this is a simple but solid Lazio jersey with nice lettering .
