One of the funniest I've seen was at Euro 2004 when Italy crapped out in the Italian section I believe it was during the last game against Bulgaria...

MAMMA, BUTTA LA PASTA.

(i.e. mom put the pasta on - typical thing to say to your mom or grandmother when you'll be home shortly)

More recently on the night we won the Coppa one great sign in English translation said :  "Hey Roma, are you watching the TV?"...i'm pretty sure that was the direct translation but I could be wrong.

I personally liked this one      I MI BI JE BA LI (I MI BI JEBALI) - We would like to f@@k 2 (means beat somebody,not just losing). Thats croatians on EURO 2004 after 2 defets in the group.

I remember - the reference was to Totti who was asked if he'd watch the final (one of those stupid questions Italian journalists are prone to ask). It was quite funny.
