2-1 now.... Torino need two goals to get promoted. Fuck that.

Ah it'll be so emotional for me whenever I see the first game at the Rigamonti. I'll instantly get transported to the days of Roby and Super Dario... around England's peak times of covering Serie A, when it was legitmately the best league in the world.

In truth, I'll also accept Torino back... but Brescia, well, it's high time for that big name to come back.

good for Brescia, but Torino is by far the bigger name 7 shields, 3X the # of serieA seasons

Agreed... out the two, no question.

But Brescia are a bigger name then Lecce and Cesena, Cittadella, etc.

So it was a win-win, basically 1 big team was guaranteed to come up tonight.

I've always had a soft spot for Brescia, I suppose you could call it. If Lazio wasen't my team, then Brescia would have been.

Same here actually. The biggest club in the history of calcio.

A delayed comment here but great to see Brescia back in Serie A. Torino have had enough shots of late, now its Brescia's turn. Hopefully this will breath huge life into that club. As for Hellas, a real shame.

- "Italy´s second tier Serie B has been rebranded Serie bwin after a two-year sponsorship deal was signed on Wednesday with Austria-based internet betting firm bwin. The deal, announced in a Serie B statement, will bring much-needed revenue to a division which has been under severe financial pressure for several years. Serie B will run its own affairs this season after the top-flight Serie A broke away from the two-division professional league."

10 games in and I figured I take a look and see how Serie B bwin is doing this season. kind of funny that bwin shit. A betting website sponsoring a sporting league. also sad, since Lazio dont have a sponsor .

1. Novara    22 (who now?)
2. Siena      20
3. Reggia    18

4. Empoli    16
5. Atalanta  16

Does anyone have a favourite Serie B team?

Obviously Lazio are our first team, but ive got a soft spot for Sassuolo, would like to see them do well, maybe get into Serie A one day. Danielle Martinetti is a fantastic player.
