Could actually work to our benefit here, at least if things go South against Inter we won't have the prospect of going to Turin to rectify it. Then again, if we win against Inter the momentum is broken somewhat by the big gap until the Udinese form. Hopefully we beat Inter and then they cancel the strike, that would be best.

Let me start with this. Fuck the AIC, hope they all get ass cancer.
that being said. the strike would be good for lazio either way, win, loss, or draw to inter. avoiding playing juve right after inter can only be a plus. especially the red hot Juventus of late, not that I think they are likely to cool down any time soon.
what also makes me made about this, it was going to be the first time that I can remember there being three televised Lazio matches in a row (in the states) FSC Catania, Inter, Juve; would have been nice. ah hell if Lazio can stay atop the leader boards they will show their games every week, I'll patiently wait for that instead.

Well, only one day between the start of the season or strike. Unless a last-minute resolution is found we will have to wait until mid September for the first game to be played as the weekend of September 3-4 will be a break for international matches anyway.

Yeah, Laura Esposto just confirmed it, and agreement couldnt be reached so the first round will not be played on sunday.
Apparently the games will be rearranged, and will be played as midweek fixtures so as not to disrupt the rest of the calendar.
Means our first game will likely be away at AC.

Great, no football for another two weeks then, and we then start away at the Champions. Wonderful.

Thats so shit. Seems every fucken year theres some sort of threat to delay the season. This just means more games a week for Lazio and other teams in European competitions to deal with. Was really excited for this game

I don't understand what this fucking CBA is all about. There is no salary cap.. players basically do whatever the fuck they want so whats the problem.

It's beyond ludicrous and many Italians are disgusted - they want teams to cover part of the increase in taxes. So millionaires, as usual, want tax breaks while regular people must pay.

Its not 100% about money, one of the points on the agreement that hasnt been signed, is that players want it to be against the rules for players to be frozen out of the team, forced to train alone, etc, like what happened to Pandev, Marchetti, etc.
