Dumb managerial decisions have been made so far. Del Neri for Juve, now Di Carlo to Sampa, Mihajlovic (rumoured) to Inter, and then Guidolin leaving Parma for Udinese. First of all Del Neri has done nothing in his career, he has even managed two teams without being in charge of a single game. Juve management yet again show their ineptness by appointing him. Di Carlo at Sampa I can see lasting only till Christmas. And Guidolin to Udinese? After two years of building up Parma and then leave for a club I consider less prestigious. So Parma, Sampa and Inter will be worse, Juve the same, and Udinese better. Good for us I guess...

You honestly don't think highly of Del Neri? Would you of benched Cassano for a month because Cassano had lost his form and was frustrated? Not me, thats for sure and niether would your average coach that would heavily rely on him. Much respect here for Del Neri as he took Sampdoria 4th place and his squad was the one that cost ASR the scudetto. I just don't know why Del Neri would go from Champions League to Europa League. He should have continued with the strong and united Samp team he had.

Last season was good for Del Neri. Prior to that what has he done? Nothing. To me it's like when we appointed Ballardini after one good season. If Palermo would have gotten 4th would Juve have gone after Rossi? Ahh, I really don't rate Delneri...

Mihajlovic in at Fiorentina. They are not messing around, and I think its a great move for him. He will get the time and, it seems, the players to build a strong side. D'Agostino in alongside Montolivo will form a very strong central midfield.

That's Sinisa's third Serie A Club he's managed, and still not Lazio! I have nothing against Fiorentina. I wish them well. It would be great for them to sneak into a CL spot and get rid of Merda for instance. Btw, shitty Benitez has left Liverpool *sigh* which I guess we'll see an improvement in Liverpool in the future. Gutted. Anyway, I wonder if he'll go to Inter? Jesus they would have to pretty desperate to get him imo. Not that you can improve upon winning everything... but I find it interesting that if Juventus were a bit more patient they could have had him instead, for nothing! Benitez would have unquestionably been a better choice for Rube then Del Neri. Anyway, if Benitez does go to Inter, and Maicon as expected goes to Real Madrid, then I can't personally see them winning Serie A next season. And we all know how Rafa works, sell the best players and bring in shit. Inabit Sneijder, Milito, Maicon, Julio Cesar. Hello Kuyt.

Well if they don't win its Roma next in line, we are not posed to do much better so this nightmare season may have a sequel. We could not get Mihajlovic before he went to Catania when his profile was lower we had no chance now.

Maccarone in at Palermo, tuttomercato web. Good signing for them in my view. Yet more fire power at the Barbera.

I know your feelings on this matter and you know mine. He's a missed opportunity. Put it this way, Maccarone coming off the bench (if Cavani stays) or even Hernandez if Rossi fancies Macca as a starter... is a far more threatening proposition then Budan off the bench. So It looks like Palermo are doing what all normal clubs with good potential do... making the squad stronger by improving the quality of the bench. If you do that, then you are heading in the right direction.

Mascherano close to Inter, and Zlatan wants to return to Italy to AC Milan, according to the usual Italian websites. The latter is surely leaving Barca though Milan, being so unwilling to spend big, would surprise me. Thoughts on whether these would be good or bad moves anyone.

Ciao Masch Get him out of shitty Liverpool. He deserves so much better. He has had a stonkingly good WC so far. I can't see Zlatan at AC, because as you say, Milan won't want to spend big. Their great signing of the season, I feel, would be Allegri.

... that being said, Milan have just signed Marco Amelia. For their sakes, Dida should be well away from the team now.

Just a rumour at the moment, but Riquelme to Brescia. He is a free agent so the cost to them would only be wages. Interesting.

Really? Why we don't try him. He is a little bit greedy on the field (and off the field too) but I like him.

There's been plenty of curveball deals already this year. Kjaer to a 'bigger club' in the form of... Wolfsburg. O RLY? But I never ever saw Cavani moving to Napoli. What a bizarre transfer. Yes he wanted to stay in Italy and join Inter or Rube. But since Palermo and Napoli will be in the same competition I simply do not understand why he would switch. Oh well, what a real, real, REAL coup for the Partnepoei.
