we are now fighting for that 4th spot with teams with even points and quality. Do you think we can really hope for that 4th spot under this circumstances (with Rossi as a coach and players we have). P 4. Genoa 35 5. Napoli 33 6. Fiorentina 32 7. Lazio 31 8. Roma 30 9. Palermo 29 10. Atalanta 27

Just finished watching Chievo vs. Reggina. Chievo scored in like the 90th minutes. I wouldn't have watched the game but when I saw Makinwa come on I wanted to see if he'd do anything special .. all I have to say is .. thank god that guy is off our team. I was really hoping he'd score to give chievo a reason to sign him. Reggina are officially this years whipping boys and I think they're getting relegated. The last 3 year's they've been close but I think their luck has run out.
Next match today is Juve vs. Fiorentina. I hope it's a tie to bring both teams in competition with the us and give us some CL hope.

I think we can exclude Palermo and Atalanta from the running for 4th place. They cant play away from home and thats the key to success this season. Genoa have been unbelieveable all season long, and they have no other competitions to focus on so they will be dangerous as will Napoli who seem unbeatable at home. But Roma and Fiorentina have the greatest depth, but they are both in Europe which may work in our favour as they will be stretched to win all the time. I think it will be very close between us, Roma and Fiorentina for 4th place. Thats not to say i think Genoa or Napoli will fall off the radar, but i dont think either of them will be in 4th come the seasons end. I guess this is what makes the league so exciting, there are no guarantees for anyone at all. Last season 4th was a battle between fiorentina and Milan. This season its between 5 teams. Forza Lazio for 4th place

Rubentus did it again with another one of their classic controversial wins... they still wreak of calciopoli. They might have had a controversial win but fiorentina was the better side and gilardino scored a perfectly legitamate goal that was called offside and they also deserved a penalty on a trip from melberg. There are plenty of games to go and anything can happen now in the second half of the season. Remember we saw udinese on the top spot at one point and look where they are now!

Whoever Cagliari's coach is, we should look into him. Currently they're winning 1-0 on juventus. They gave us a beating of a lifetime and won last week against Siena. They will pass us tommorow in the table if we lose to milan and they happen to pull it off against juventus.
napoli tied udinese which are two uefa contending teams .. generally i would be happy about this but I have no faith lazio is going anywhere and we are not going to be milan .. i hope i'm wrong but they've proven to be more of a weaker team than a contending team.

Cagliari are now challengers for the uefa and greatly deserve so. They just beat Juve in Torino. So basically they've beat us at home and juve at home which i must say is quite the feat. Unfortunately they have more bragging rights than we do proving to be a much strong. Not only have they won but have played a good game.... Sad .. very very sad!

What a great game to watch that was, and Cagliari really have some very talented young players. Matri, Jeda, Aquafresca will be big stars in years to come

Reggina battled hard right to the last, and did everything we didnt last weekend though Milan did deserve 3 points with the amount of posession and chances they had. Inter were very good in their game, and looked solid everywhere. Sets up an interesting Milan derby next weekend.

Atalanta 3-0 Roma current score!!!!!!!!!! Playing away in Serie A is just so tough, Atalanta also is such a tough place to play football. I dread it when we go there . Kaka doubtful for tonight, but ronaldinho will play for sure. He was magical against Italy midweek for Brazil. who do u want to win?
