wow Napoli are now at 11 position. We are right behind Merda but we have few easy matches like Siena, Catania, Chievo..... This is our chance to go in UEFA and to put Merda where it belongs.

Hopefully Inter win tommorow and keep the merde close by. I'm also hoping cagliari, atalanta and palermo have bad games and stay behind us.

I watched the Napoli - Juve game and have to say that was the dirtiest and sketchiest game i've watched all year. The ref made soooooooo many bad calls you know why juventus as the nickname rubentus. The game literally should have been 8 vs. 8 with the cards that should have been given out.

Chiellini looks like he wanted to fight napoli players all match.

Anyways, glad napoli lost and are now trailing us. Hopefully when we play them we can send them even more to the depth of the bottom 10. Juve still played incredible and you can tell they are saving their important players for tuesdays match which looks like they will be taking seriously especially after losing against chelsea in CL.

Yeah, I agree I watched too. I can say it wasnt fair. Anyway, juve won and I am wating todays matches now. Come on inter, beat merda.

Palermo  -  Catania
Atalanta -  Chievo
Cagliari   -  Torino

Unfortunately, all teams we compete will play in home. I think Palermo can win, Chievo and Torino need immediate winning not to go Serie B. I hope they can get at least a point.

Wow so I will say it all came to this. Who would like more to play the finals at Olimpico and take UEFA. Rossi must explain the situation to the players and demand concentration and spirit. I think if we hold not to take a goal out of both matches we will be great but unfortunately our weakest link is the defense. We are playing the first one home and must get a good result. Lets hope that Juve will beat Chelsea and have smarter things to do and leave coppa to us.

Good news that catania is smashing palermo. All we need is Atalanta and Cagliari to chocke and we're safe in the 7th position. This is definately turing out to be a great weekend. Did anyone see the goals catania scored .. if not you have to .. Mascara scores the funniest goal by kicking the ball straight up from far away and the ball just bounces right into the net.. a rare way of scoring a goal.

Sampdoria beating milan 2-0 .. wow! .. i think this is honestly ancelotti's last year coaching milan. No Coppa, No Uefa, and No Scudetto ... even after they spent how much this year on world known players ..haha!

Since his move to Samp, ive been very impressed with Pazzini. Another tidy finish today. Italy seems to have a good crop of strikers like Rossi, Gilardino and Pazzini. Beneficial for 2010 world cup i think. Milan have been a shambles in this game. There defence is a shambles, i agree Latius Ancelloti can't survive this, they may not even make the champions league the way there going.

7th place is better than 11th, but still no uefa spot, right?

This is looking real good! Chievo beating atalanta, Catania beating Palermo, we just need Torino to score on Cagliari now.

I hope samp beats milan. Milan is playing so dirty.

7th place is a uefa qualifying spot ONLY if the final two teams of the coppa italia have already qualified. So if juve and inter were in the finals of the coppa and we finished 7th place then we would go to UEFA.

Don't think the palermo fans will be happy tonight, loosing 4 - 0 to your bitter rivals ouch. I think that will kill palermos momentum, they will struggle to get over that result.

Yeah that has to hurt and catania isn't exactly know to be a serious contending team any year. Zenga has done a great job turning the team around and that IS a credible win.

This is a great weekend for us with the added results from the other games. We are not only back in the top 10 but also in 7th. It's amazing how 1 win and the results of 4 other games can make an impact.

Atalanta, Cagliari, Napoli, and Palermo losing has changed our whole situation. Hell, even genoa tying has kept them at a close distance. All we need now is Inter to smash the merde and this will be a perfect weekend for Lazio fans.

Exactly, if this weekends fixture show anything it is that the championship is long and hard, and that the depth of this league guarantees that anyone can loose anywhere. In light of this, theres no reason why we can't finish in the top six at all. Yet we have to be careful, looking at the league table now we are still only six points above samp in 14th place. Still, its been a great weekend for us, and we have a good chance to win the next three games before derby also
