Sampdoria beating milan 2-0 .. wow! .. i think this is honestly ancelotti's last year coaching milan. No Coppa, No Uefa, and No Scudetto ... even after they spent how much this year on world known players ..haha!

I agree, anelotti finished his credit. With him they won CL and get 2th in CL. No more cup. Expected at least a scudetto but he cant do it. It is likely to see another coach next year.
Good to see milan in this situation. Age average of milan is more than 30. It is hard to compete for them.

I was pretty shocked when I saw the merde winning 2 - 0. Thank god Inter came back and tied it up as our distance is getting attainable although walking away from Inter with a tie is still pretty impressive.

We need to start getting some credible wins under our belt and make sure this time we take 3 points from the derby.

We were 11th and now we are 7th as a result of two consecutive win and the other matches scores. OK, we are going well now but if we lose points against napoli, then we can turn back again.

Palermo has no chance against Catania

Good news that catania is smashing palermo. All we need is Atalanta and Cagliari to chocke and we're safe in the 7th position. This is definately turing out to be a great weekend. Did anyone see the goals catania scored .. if not you have to .. Mascara scores the funniest goal by kicking the ball straight up from far away and the ball just bounces right into the net.. a rare way of scoring a goal.

7th place is better than 11th, but still no uefa spot, right?

7th place is a uefa qualifying spot ONLY if the final two teams of the coppa italia have already qualified. So if juve and inter were in the finals of the coppa and we finished 7th place then we would go to UEFA.

So if we lose in the final, we won't get an uefa spot!?

I'm fairly certain that if we got into the final with Inter, even a loss would put us into UEFA. If we get to the final against Samp, we must win to get a spot in UEFA. If Inter and Juve get into the finals and they finish top 4, the 7th place finisher gets a UEFA spot. If Samp wins the Coppa or finishes runner up to Inter or Juve, then they get the spot. At least that's what I've been told. Let's just win the damn thing so we can get the UEFA spot and wear that stylish tricolour bullseye on our jerseys!!!! Forza Lazio!!!!

A stylish tricolor to go with a lovely cup and a european place would be just the thing to cheer us all up after a winter of discontent  and of course beating    afterwards

Sampdoria scored with Cassano in 8th minute. It seems Sampdoria wants to go uefa by winning coppa like us. They got a tie against juve and they won against milan. Now they want to beat inter as well.

Sampdoria found 3 goals in the first half, inter played nothing. It seems they dont care coppa. Pazzini(2) and Cassano scored.

This actually has a positives and negatives.

If Samp make it to the final and we don't we might not make uefa even if we make that 7th spot.

However, if we manage to beat Juve in the second legge i'd be happy to play Samp in the final. However i'd rather take my chances knowing we'd face Inter so we don't get scammed a spot from Samp.

Yeah, sampdoria wants to reach final for uefa like us. And if we and sampdoria play final, I am sure that sampdoria will play its best game.
To face with inter can seem more tough but at least guaranty. However, what happens if we face with sapmdoria in final is a thing only GOD knows .
