Napoli beating Inter tonight, wow. Thought at best they may manage a draw but great goal by Zalayeta. Good game, anyone else watch it? Napoli broke up Inter's midfield winning every second ball available, thats what we have to do next week. Maybe this sounds ridiculous, but if we play our very best we could cause an upset. I would love it to be us to end their unbeaten home record, that would say something about out club.

You seem to watch every game friend! I used to be like that but when I'm at Uni I've soon stopped, because I have to get on a train to Uni walk up a huge hill whatever and watch it in a stuffy computer room there heh. Now I only really watch 'special' games or those including Lazio, even today I chose not to!
When I'm at 'home' home with a bloody good broadband I tend to watch a lot more, the Napoli game tonight sounded fun, a sell-out at the San Paolo is a hell of a lot more exciting then most other Serie A grounds.

Yeah i do watch a lot of serie A, always have loved watching Italian football of any description really. Ah, University computer rooms, I can certainly see why you choose only to watch the special ones, dont blame you at all there mate. You didnt miss anything today mate, to be honest i wished i hadnt watched. Credit where credit is due, the Napoli faithful really do make their ground a hell hole.

After yesterdays crappy results .. todays results made things better. Looking at the table now .. roma are sitting in 6th looking less likely to grab the CL spot and more likely to grab the last uefa spot. Like I said last week, it would be all the sweeter if we end up winning the coppa and snagging the uefa spot from the merde if they can stay in that position to make their season meaningless keeping them out of europe.

This afternoon, is an exciting derby and i'll be rooting for genoa 100% since I want them to keep a big lead on the merde with the remaining games 4 games. Judging by the rest of Genoa's season it should be no effort to not only maintain the current spot but potentially move up since their remaining games are atalanta, chievo, torino and lecce. I'd say they have a pretty safe path.

The milan - catania game was similar to yesterdays lazio match. Milan played monkey in the middle with catania most of the game and almost looked like they were taunting catania when milan had a string of what seemed like 30 passes completed in front of the box.

Yeah, incredibly were still only 5 points out of sixth place despite two straight losses. Im through with making predictions on this season as each week results shock me. Chievo took a point in Rome today though, good one. I think they may even miss out on Uefa now with Palermo looking very dangerous. Milan did give a masterclass in how to keep the ball today though, brilliant at times.

currently genoa and samp are tied. I hope genoa can pull it off and keep a healthy lead on the merde for both CL and uefa spots. Good game to watch.

Wow .. exciting derby between Genoa and Samp. Similar to our derby .. cards were given out like crazy and the game ended up being 9 men genoa against 10 men Samp. Milito is incredible scoring a hatrick. Must be a great feeling for a player to score 3 in a derby. With a 7 point lead ahead of the merde sitting in 5th .. they would have to give up 3 out of the four remaining games to lose their spot to the merde.

Who do people think will go down to Serie B? I would have said Reggina for sure a week ago but now im not to sure. Torino, and even Lecce seem to be picking up form.

I think this should be a topic on its own .. but these teams ALL really have it tough.

Should be interesting since these relegation bound teams have to face each other in some matches:

Torino plays - Bologna, Napoli, Genoa, MERDA
Bologna plays - Torino, Lecce, Chievo, Catania
Lecce plays - Napoli, Bologna, Fiorentina, Genoa
Reggina plays - Sampdoria, Cagliari, LAZIO 1900, Siena
Chievo plays - Inter, Genoa, Bologna, Napoli

Of these teams bologna has the best chance.

Milito, is just magical.
I recall when he just signed for genoa, i thought he was mad to sign for a club like that.....he was highly rated in spain and could have joined a big club in spain............but he came to genoa can all see the fruits.....To me, he is the best player in the league this season. And big kudos to genoa too for getting him.

as frustrating as yesterday game was and last weeks game against inter.. i'm now finding it frustrating that chievo is putting on a better performance than us against Inter. Currently the score is 1-1 but chievo is able to create chances and have possession which lazio couldn't do neither. The only consolation for the weekend would be to see the merde lose today.

Apart from the league draw with Juve, with have been demolished by the Milan sides in every game in the league. Yet, the small provincial sides take the game to them a fight, I fancy Chievo for a point today. Great goal by them also

Cagliari currently beating the merde .. this team is a revelation .. such a small club that didn't do anything in the first half of the season has a shot of grabbing a uefa spot and on a winning patter since january.

OMG .. chievo just tied inter 2-2 with a beautiful second goal...i think they are safe in serie a. I'm surprised even chievo isn't willing to field makinwa in a regular match when rossi fielded him in the CL.

If memory serves I think Cagliari lost their first six games as well. What a game in Verona, 2-2 now. Balotelli's goal is a must see. World class. Its a really good game
