ASR 1-1 Bologna
Lecce 1-0 Inter
Genoa 3-2 Napoli
Juventus 3-2 Udinese

Huge huge huge. The dream is on. Come 3rd place these big signings will come frequent. These last days in the mercato are huge to see how serious management are about 3rd place.

Also I want to give an applause to Palacio's first goal today. What a volley. Sculli was going crazy pumping up the Genoa crowd. pfft.

I truely do not beleive that Juve can keep winning the way they have been and that Milan will end up going on top.. With that said I think that not only we can get 3rd place but maybe even 2nd place if things go our way.. The only team that is clearly better than the rest is AC Milan if you ask me.

Guessing a draw would be best in this then? I think if Udinese don't win we can certainly look at making 3rd spot our own, but if Milan lose we're 2 points off 2nd. So glad we beat Cesena and can watch this comfortably.

3rd place for good!  Milan's win seals that we stay in 3rd at least for the week :)

I love not playing games and having it still work.

Edit:  We also have  2 days extra rest on Athletico Madrid who just tied 0-0 with Racing.....Hardly a good outfit

only 3 teams qualify for CL this year.

Milan technically isn't in first since Juve have 2 games in hand and i'm sure they'll win both. Now the question remains can we hold that 3rd spot ?

Good comeback by Milan, will be really interesting to see if we can be more consistant and stay ahead of Udinese.

Juventus and Milan to me are always going to be 1st and 2nd place. even if Udinese won I would still say this. I am very happy Udinese fell on another defeat. I really hope this is not another heartbreaking soap opera like last season. I just get a chill in my bones when I hear the champions league music in my head and imaging Lazio participating.

I don't think it's Udinese we have to worry about - or at least not principally, but Inter. Anyway, we're third at the moment. Sometimes it's nice to be existentialist and just enjoy the moment. We have come through quite a bit of adversity and should be quite proud of the lads for what they've done as a whole.

Inter ? Really ?  Look at their last 3 games:

Lecce 1 - 0 Inter
Palermo 4 - 4 Inter
Roma 4 - 0 Inter

If they are our competition then I don't think that Champions League is that far of a dream.

^^^ just to touch on my last comment. I do agree with you, despite their bad luck in their last games I think if i was to pick a team that is most likely to challenge for that 3rd spot its probably Inter. But there is so much left of the season that the margins are pretty close with our competitors that anything can happen. Napoli and Merda are marginally close too. We've lost our grasp in the second half of the season before and hopefully this time we can find that hunger we've shown in the first half of the season and we desperately need our depth back because we're not going too far fielding the team we had against Cesena.

Lecce is the only really surprising hiccup, the palermo game was all over the place + covered in Ice, and Inter never play well against roma.

I agree its do able, but Lazio will have to be at their best. Vola Lazio Vola!!!

Lazio just need to focus on their own game. They must not let the opponent score 2 goals first at the beginning of the match like our two last games (genoa e cesena). If Lazio still consistent, I think we can hope better than only for third spot. But, when Lazio show the inconsistent game, udinese, inter, roma and  even napoli can chase us on the table. So, the best position comes from the best performance. FORZA LAZIO!!!
