For me it's the clubs fault in this league who generally don't take it seriously enough in my opinion. Not a single win in it in the last two rounds. I'd love to see this competition return to the old UEFA cup format. Two leg knock out football. It was more exciting and taken more seriously because you had to get a result on the night, rather than take your chances because you have a few more group games left. Generally speaking this competition has been wrecked compared to what it was in the 90s, and either needs overhauling or simply scrapping in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more. But you have to ask yourself why it seems to be EPL and Serie A are in bed together on this. La Liga take it very seriously, with Seville and Atletico both winning it recently, the Bundesliga usually get representatives to the quarters every year etc. I just do not understand. One of the stupidest things about this league is, because it has a winter break, even with the excess of games, the players should be able to handle playing three times a week, hence, why European commitments are not taken seriously is a joke, because what are you fighting for in the league. If you are fighting for Europe then don't take it seriously when you get there, then you may as well come 10th every season and give the european places to small teams like Chievo and Bari who would relish the oppurtunity I'm sure to stir it up abroad.

Honest to god there can be no excuses about the format of competitions but when the spot goes, and clubs receive less money from European tv rights or however the fuck it works, I hope to god that a lesson will be learnt from all this, they simply has to be, and if we get the spot back then we'll hold onto it forever. Calcio cannot continue to exist with such a bullshit attitude.

And btw, I've seen a lot of dickheaded arguments and thoughts tonight. Lazio is only as strong as the league that's it in, and to not care about the league your team is in just doesn't make any sense to me.

sorry but i hate napoli and anyone who plays for that merda of a team. I hope they lose. The commentator cofusing lazio with them is an insult to us. Lavezzi = merda just for playing for them.

NAPOLI VA FANCULO!

Oh yeah, mega fan dan, who hates Napoli because they were blue. Wow, so you must hate every other team who wears blue, what a pathetic waste of time, and I thought our rivals wore RED.

But of course if Lazio's natural home strip was green with pink dots you wouldn't even be on the forum.  So Clear off this thread.

HUH !?!?! K ... read my post .. then yours .. repeat thrice or however many times it takes to sink in at how completely unrelated your post is to mine.

Fucking angry. Watched Napoli against Liverpool then cought the highlights of the other Seria A representatives. This is as simple and retarded as it is not supposed to be. Why do you aim that 6th or 5th spot if you are going to spoil it eventually. Di Carlo and the rest vattene  .
