Interesting tournament to follow, great showcase of the best up and coming talent in Europe.  Hopefully Lotito and co. are watching and scouting out some potential prospects for purchase this summer.

On a Lazio note de Silvestri was left off the Italian side for the competition, which I think was somewhat of a reality check and part of the reason why he might want to leave.  He really should be on that team but because he barely played for us all year he had to be left off, the kid needs to play here regularly otherwise no way were holding on to him.

Has anyone else been following the tourny?

Saw Italy - Serbia yesterday, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this Italian team would beat the A side. Nearly all players are playing regularly in Serie A and it's weird that none of them got selected for the Confedaration Cup. It really shows Lippi's stupidity, this is a tournament which really means nothing, just a warm up for the World Cup, and instead of giving Criscito, Marchisio or Cigarini a chance he goes for Legrottaglie (32) and Camoranesi (32). (Went a little off topic  )

Yes there will be many scouts there maybe half of the stadium attendance    all packed with their bags full of money. And our Lotito in the middle with a pack of traveller cheques

Look half of the England U21 squad have a better contract than half of the Serie A Players.
