I still don't care, although one thing struck a chord with me. The guy who trains Olimpia we hired from Benfica and is the brother of the Benfica eagle handler... apparantly he earns 120,000 a year or something for doing this for us, and obviously gets to live in the great city of Rome too.

Surely it cannot be a hard job... fuck radio, I want to that

  Olimpia  very glad the voting %'s I saw apparently played no part and that a good name was picked. Olimpia is far far greater that Skeggia and Vittoria.

where else are you going to get some one who knows how to train an eagle. benfica already has the connections, so really dont care if we got the same trainer or his brother. just so long as we didnt take the same name too. they were certainly not the first team to use a real life animal for a mascot, so why let "its been done" mentality stand in the way. Its a great Idea, and hope the tradition/eagle out lives Lotito, both figuratively and literally.

Rome city council (or should it be shitty council) is considering whether the flights of Olimpia contravene city bylaws prohibiting animal use in public spectacles. Mah Vaffanculo, please!
