To add, he says that the nazi salute is political than racial. As if the nazi-salute is the only way to express a modern political statement. Patriotism is part of Fascism but I dont even see Di Canio supporting Italy or Serie A at all anymore so I dont even know why he does that fucking garbage. That salute is nothing to be proud of. Nothing.
You are renowned for making retarded statements but this topped all of your brainfarts in recent memory.

He's not an easy player, or person to figure out. I personally don't care for player worship. But that said, the derby goal and his run under the CN was one of the greatest moments in Lazio history. Roslagen is correct, of course, as far as Lazio goes, he is not one of the greats. But I think he's remembered for his attitude, particularly with respect to the derby and his Romanita' etc. as opposed to his production. This is what made him beloved.
There is also no question however that he has become a rather pathetic figure, unable to separate his hatred of Lotito from his love of the team. What bothered me most was when he was being paid as an analyst and slagging the squad. It's one thing to make statements as a private, but famous fan (even if I believe he was wrong about much of what he said), it's quite another to go on TV and be paid to say them. It's difficult not to be both angered and saddened by his statements now. He just seems like a very embittered and pathetic figure, like a man after a messy and public break up who just can't get over it.
As for his infamous salute - I don't want to get into all of this, but I will say that first, it was a dumb thing to do given that you have to represent the club in everything you do ON the pitch when you're a professional. You have to be a little more aware than that, and clearly DiCanio is smart enough to know. He clearly got carried away. But he's not the only one that has ever brought politics onto the field so I find it somewhat hypocritical the way all kinds of double standards are set over what types of political symbols are accepte and which are not. Second, the Roman salute and the Nazi salute are not exactly the same thing philosophically and in the context it was being used in this instance. There is also absolutely NO evidence that DiCnio is racist in any way.

Sorry but Yeboah's goal was a head on ball and nowhere near the level of difficulty of DiCaniao's scissor kick. But I think the derby goal is his best. A pass coming from behind him, redirected deftly and then, in a derby... well, just magic. When I hear him speak now, I prefer to drown him out with this memory...

As a player Di Canio's goal scoring record in Italy is poor really, and at a time when it was easily the best league in the world he cut and run to some average English sides. Shame. He's capable of brilliance and yet not capable of goal scoring consistency, during his time in Italy at least. Still, those players are few and far between and it's goals like the one below that life long in the memory rather than your bog standard tap ins.

Also, I see that you only tell me of my 'retarded statements' . How come you dont let anyone else know in the forum? Do you feel the need to compete with me? Is it because im not a Di Canio cocksucker? Please I really am interested for answers here. Go ahead sunshine.

Sorry but I was not picking a fight with you. Anyone with a minimum of brain cells will tell you that every single sentence in the paragraph I quoted is either nonsense or senseless. I doubt you actually want to accept that, eh? You should, nonetheless, be able to understand that my reaction was based on the ignorance and inherent stupidity in your words - not the fact that you dislike Paolo Di Canio. Clear enough?

Sorry but I was not picking a fight with you.
Are you kidding me? You practically asked for this Anyone with a minimum of brain cells will tell you that every single sentence in the paragraph I quoted is either nonsense or senseless. I doubt you actually want to accept that, eh? You should, nonetheless, be able to understand that my reaction was based on the ignorance and inherent stupidity in your words - not the fact that you dislike Paolo Di Canio. Clear enough?
Wow, you just contradicted yourself along with using a Personal Attack Fallacy. so you quoted me because I made an ignorant statement and not because of Di Canio. Fine. Now I will ask you a second time, what did I say that was ignorant in my quote? Do you support the fascist salute in modern society and dont like what I said? ... what is it? you tell me, its like pulling teeth just to get an answer.

Aquile89, there is a difference in picking fight with someone and telling someone to bugger off with nonsense.
I found your first response so funny that I tried to be blunt to the point to make you reconsider your statement. I did not care whether you would be offended or not, that much is obvious, but if you think I was or am waging personal war against you, rest assured, I am not.
I really have no need to dissect your statement and rub it in your face. I honestly thought you would see it for yourself. If you insist it was accurate and made perfect sense, I do not think I will be able to persuade you to think otherwise. I really have no interest in that.

If you weren't trying to spark something between us and just speaking your mind, I suggest you be more considerate about what you say. Since we are Laziale and I enjoy reading your opinions here, I wont prolong this unnecessary war of words.

Any fan that knocks Paolo Di Canio should be ashamed of themselves. You clearly aren't aware of the passion and pride this man has shown over the years for this club on and off the field. It pisses me off when I see so called lazio fans knock this legend of football. He wants to get under lottito's skin, he cant stand the bastard. So I challenge you to knock the shit out of Paolo in front of the Irriducibili and see how they react. You better have health insurance!!!! FORZA PAOLO can you believe this? i fucking cant! they are lazio fans and they hate him? i cant fucking believe this really! i can see that you are a normal guy who knows what di canio means! i am from serbia, you dont have to be roman to understand these things, you just have to be a normal person, not like these degenericks! my first tattoo was di canio with his arm high up, in front of curva nord, he is a man to respect and admire! the second one was lazio emblem of course! he is a real ultra who loves his club! i would love to come to rome and see lazio! please e mail me mate! ave paolo
