If I may, consider it a poublic service anouncement to the Biancoceleste brother and sisterhood the world over. Let's not turn into riommers (i.e. talk about scu##tti and other ridiculous stuff). Before talking to any of a number of trogs (riommer and otherwise) you come across in a given day who seriously deserve to be told that they're stupid, just breathe and think, what would er capitano di merda do, then do the opposite. Seriously, when someone starts with this "wow, Lazio are amazing..." semi-ironic amazement shit, I just respond - don't worry it's just a typo. Stoicism and level headedness. Forza Lazio! Avanti cosi!

100% again. Though the irony of Imper telling people not to be cocky....

And also, I'd like to add to this, since I think it fits, why I and now a few others have started to say some of Lazio's behaviour has been, the famous word, 'lucky.' It's not because I'm trying to derail Reja's acheivement, player performances, whatever. The big thing for me is that it's actually a very good thing to embrace luck whenever possible and admit that it's there. If, for example, you get worked up because some people are saying Lazio are lucky, IMO, the worst thing to do is to react to it, because you'll eventually reach a stage where you think that everyone hates Lazio (which they absolutely do not.) And if you think that everyone hates Lazio then you'll quickly undertake the us vs them mentality. I've seen bits and pieces of that mentality from the likes of Lotito and Reja already. It's not necessarily a bad mentality per se (Mou's Inter thrived on it) but the issue is that Inter are not the only club to have taken this. AS Merda by any chance, and maybe even Liverpool? Always acting like a target of some misjustice, always feeling the world is against them, blah de fucking blah.

I personally have seen nothing written about Lazio that I do not regard as fair. At one end of the scale people saying there's no luck at all, I understand, but I also understand people saying that there has been plenty of moments. Both are credible to me.

^^ To be honest, I rarely talk about Lazio with non-Laziale. I don't read much in the way of Enlish language sites for football, but in general they tend to be more objective (that retarded broad Campanale notwithstanding). In the Italian media (if you can call it that), believe me, there are plenty of "gufi" (mainly riommers naturally) who go out of their way to say the most biased things. Anyway, who cares.

I am so happy with today's result, I hope Lotito wiped the smirk of Zamparini's face! Dias was immense today, that finish was outstanding but he also put in some quality tackles. Biava was reckless but also a bit unlucky, Pinilla was a disgrace today, all of our bookings today were thanks to his amateur dramatics, for a guy with so many tattoos he was quite a pussy!

We did ride our luck today but you create you own luck when everyone is willing to fling themselves in front of the ball, like Radu did to stop a certain goal from Pastore. For all the hype he didn't really amaze me today, he's got a nice touch but his final ball was poor, maybe its going to his head. Hernanes didn't do much either but it was his delivery that set up the goal so maybe he wins this battle.

Two of my brothers have got Curva Nord tickets for the derby next week, lucky bastards!
