I live in Toronto, Canada and really want to go see the derby this October 16 at the Olympico. I have never been to a serie A game before, only ones in La Liga.

1. Can any one please inform me of the best way to buy tickets to the game and or the best website that would securly offer them to me.
Are there any special conditions when buying Serie A tickets; I have heard that it is very difficult for someone who doesn't reside in Rome to aquire tickets, but i have trouble believing this.

2. Is this a stupid game for me to attend? Many people have told me not to bother because it is dangerous. It would take a serious reccommendation to stop me from going.

3. Where is the best place in the stadium for me to sit. I would obviously like to sit in the Curva, but is that a good decision? I don't mind sitting in a family zone or something like that if i am better off that way.

Any input would be much appreciated. Forza Lazio!

I've been in the curva once and its the best feeling in the world, You feel you're doing something for your team. It is not dangerous at all, ppl there are very nice. Some of them knew that I'm not Italian but still Treated me very well. go for it if you can mate.

about the ticket, My friend in Roma helped me get a ticket so I dont know..
good luck.

I always buy my tickets from the official store near Termini, never had any problems at all. I usually sit in Tevere, as I prefer the view from there (and also cos Curva sells out quickly)

Getting to the stadium couldnt be easier, but you will be searched if you look foreign.

You will need your passport to buy tickets, and take it to the game for ID too (your name is printed on your ticket)

If you dont know any Italian, learn some, the staff at the official store dont speak English, so youll need to know how to ask for a ticket, etc.

Thanks very much for your replies.

I speak italian well so it shouldn't be a problem.

I might attempt tickets through the vendors suggested by this site ... http://www.soccerticketsguide.com/lazio-tickets

Contact the clubs biglietteria first. You'd be suprised what they can do if you explain that your a Laziale sfegetato from Canada and your italian is good etc. They may be able to hold tickets for you at Lazio Style in via Calderini. The fact that it's a derby may complicate things however.
