I have been reading a few forums (uk ones). Apparently the shop on Via Farini do not stock tickets, they order them in instead. It takes one day from going into the shop and buying tickets to the tickets actually being available. This means (as I'm flying in on the day ofnthe game) I have no option but to buy online. Peruzzi, does this sound right to you? Have you had to return to the shop the day after ordering, to collect tickets?

Yes but only because ive never bought them on match day, always a few days ahead so ive sort of pre-ordered if you like.
They usually ask you to go back to collect, cos your name is printed on it, but one time I have been back to collect on the same day, maybe 3 hours later.
Dunno if that helps?

Ok, again, thank you for your help/advice. I will order online with listicket (official). I have read that I pick them up near the Olimpico (near the olimpic pools apparently) My absolute worst nightmare is flying over and not making the game, and I've read a few horror shows on the Internet over the last week about people not getting tickets for a game where half the stadium is empty.

Cool, whichever gives you peace of mind, I cant imagine the annoyance if you cant get a ticket, but ive never had an issue and the first time I went I had done no preperation or homework whatsoever, just walked into the shop and spoke to the people.

No you only need one for buying tickets to away games or season tickets. Single tickets to home games, youre fine with just your passport as ID.
Not even sure if non-Italian citizens can have them? If anyone knows this, id like to know, cos I want one!

Thanks mate, another worry off my mind. I owe you a beer.
Looks like the tickets will become available approx 2 weeks away from the Juve game on listickets. Still not decided if to go Tribuna Tevere or Distini Nord? I will make my mind up when I actually book tickets.

No problem mate, happy to help, I know it can be daunting going to another country for stuff like this. I think im lucky that im super laid back so I just went and played it by ear!
Ticket usually only go on sale the week before the game for Serie A fixtures, although I dont know if thats different online.
As for seats thats just personal preference, I dont think anywhere has bad seats in Olimpico. I usually go in Tevere Laterale, close to Nord.

42AD/38AS (I don't completely understand the AD AS thing to be honest) looks a decent area for what we want - a good view of the game, and close enough to get the atmosphere af the CN. I just want to make sure we're not sat right at the back. Approx 80 rows from bottom to top, just trying to work out if row 1 is a the front or at the back......I'm guessing the higher the number the higher up in the stand, like 90% of grounds in the UK. Today I recieved the below message from the Lazio website in reply to an email I sent last week, About the game LAZIO at the Olimpic Stadium, you can book tickets on internet (www.sslazio.it under BIGLIETTERIA & Stadio) about two to one week before the match (check on our web site the date of saling) and pay with credit card and collect them at the Olimpic Stadium three hours before the match at the "Box 3 in Piazzale De Bosis" (1). Otherwise you can directly contact by phone the Lis Ticket call center: 0039-0260060900. At the same for the above you can collect them at the Olimpic Stadium three hours before the match at the "Box 3 Accrediti in Piazzale De Bosis". If you want, you can buy ticket the day of the macth in LAZIO STYLE 1900 (2), Via G. Calderini 66c, near the Olimpic Stadium. Or, if you arrived in Rome same days before the match, you can see the map of the box-offices on www.sslazio.it under BIGLIETTERIA.
With best regards. It has a map of both the Piazzale De Bosis and also the shop at Via G. Calderini. Really helpful reply.

Peruzzi - just a quick thank you for your advice on tickets for our trip to the Olimpico. You were dead right about not leaving it until the day of the game for this one. Thanks to all others who helped with advice too, much appreciated.
Tevere was perfect for us, good atmosphere, great view, and we got the full effect of a packed, very loud CN. Just a shame we didn't manage a goal.
Next visit - Fiorentina at the Olimpico 26th Feb....
