omg ... this president is leading us to a disastrous season ....11 real players to play on three fronts ... maybe we should get out of the champions league ... so we can save the season .... we are as close to relegation as we were when fuckin lotito took over .... and our few good players will be sold if we dont finish at least in a uefa cup spot .....this is really fucked ... :(

Lotito certainly isn't helping any, but if players are going to play below their potential and we are going to continue getting injuries the way we are, no president will be able to help us. This season has been a cursed since the outset - anything that could go wrong has 00.

yeah it s true ... the players ... and even coach deserve a share of the blame ...but i personally believe their poor performance is related to lotito's failure to do well in the mercato ... it all started there

Lazio have made a simply dreadful start to the season and it appears that changes need to be made if things are going to improve. But who should go ? Coach Delio Rossi or President Claudio Lotito? Calcio Debate: Who Should Leave Lazio - Lotito Or Rossi?
It really is a miserable time to be a Lazio fan right now. The Biancocelesti sit in 14th place in Serie A just two points above the relegation zone.
They have won just three games out of 15 in all competitions and are also sitting bottom of their Champions League group with no wins from their three matches.
To cap things off Lazio lost bragging rights to local enemies Roma after a 3-2 defeat in the Derby della Capitale on Wednesday night.
If truth be told ? things couldn?t really be worse for the club.
The current situation is in stark contrast to last season when Lazio finished in a magnificent third place in Serie A and had the best defensive record in the league.
So who is to blame for this sudden reversal in fortunes?
Well if you ask the average Lazio supporter ? he will tell you fairly and squarely that President Claudio Lotito is responsible.
Saying that Lazio overachieved last season is an understatement. The club were, and still are, on a budget that is more suitable for a team fighting against relegation.
Indeed Tommaso Rocchi, who was without doubt the squad?s star player last term and scored 16 goals, is on a paltry ?8,000 a week. Such a salary is an insult.
Coach Delio Rossi, who only earns ?7,000 a week, worked miracles to take a team devoid of any real stars to Champions League qualification.
With the millions of pounds of revenue (not including his own personal fortune) that comes from qualifying for Europe?s premier club competition, you would have thought Lotito would have invested some of this money into buying some star players.
However the only out-field purchases of the new campaign were 29-year-old Lionel Scaloni from Racing Santander on a free transfer, Serbian youngster Aleksandar Kolavor from OFK Beograd, and Mourad Meghni and Simone Del Nero from their respective Serie B club?s Bologna and Brescia.
Hardly a selection of star players to take the club forward!
Lotito took over the club from former patron Sergio Cragnotti, who had bankrupted the club in 2003 after his Ciro food firm went bust. Despite stabilising the finances and moving the club into the green, Lotito is hugely unpopular with the Lazio tifosi who see him as too stringent with his money.
Lotito recently hit back at the fans who have called for him to sell the club.
?I took on a club that was dead and now the fans can see Lazio play Real Madrid in the Champions League. What more do they want?? said the 50-year-old.
?Why does everything I do have to be turned into a negative? I took this club to the Champions League by balancing the books. The team is only struggling a little now because the Coach and fitness staff quite rightly prepared them for the long term.?
Lotito alienated supporters further by furiously walking out of the Stadio Olimpico in the recent 5-1 defeat to Milan, with 20 minutes of the match still to play.
The truth is that if Lazio ever want to repeat the glories of their 1974 and 2000 Scudetto victories, then they need to find a president who is prepared to spend some money. Lotito may have done well in restructuring the club and moving it out of debt after the Cragnotti years, but now it is time for the club to move forward.
Sacking Rossi after this dreadful start to the season would be pointless because with the budget and players he has to work with (not to include the huge injury problems) he really isn?t doing much worse than should be expected.
Last year?s magnificent campaign partly came about because of the Calciopoli crisis, as clubs that would have finished above Lazio, such as Juventus, Milan and Fiorentina were, for various reasons unable to after their penalisations.
THIS YEAR THE AIR IS CLEAN AND IF LAZIO WANT TO COMPETE AT THE TOP THEN LOTITO HAS TO GO. THE BIANCOCELESTI SUPPORTERS DESERVES MUCH BETTER THAN THIS CHARACTERLESS AND SOULLESS MAN RUNNING THEIR CLUB.

The sad truth is that guy is not going to leave... he's probably going to stick around for a while .. he's like a bad rash to this team. He must be deaf and blind because its not like it couldn't be more evident that he's public enemy number 1 .. you can see this in the media, lazio fan websites .. or from the majority of supporters whether ultras or not... its becoming more and more apparent... and the polls on this site alone seem to think so too.
He spoke to soon when he said he did so much for this team only for reality to kick in of what he's truly worth to this team.

The problem is that if the owner of the team has to change every time the team hits a rough spot, we'll change owners every three years - which would be a disaster. I still think the problem with Lotito isn't tht he's responsible for everything that is going wrong but that he handles everything in a horrendous way. He's far too aggressive and way too arrogant. I think that this whole situation would have been avoided if he just simply said, we screwed up, the fans deserve more, we will do better in January. Instead, he seems to add insult to injury by constantly claiming that it's somebody else's fault but never him.
The other problem is that we have had ZERO luck this year. The media that constantly talks about how we overachieved last year - what the @!#$% does that even mean - "overachieved". You can overachieve in a game but how do you overachieve in 38 games?!?!?!?!? We aren't playing well, and Lotito could have got some reinforcements, but NO team can play well when they have had chronic injury problems with as many starters as we've had. Imagine the derby with Ledesma at full strength and Mauri and Behrami in!!! As Laziali, we need to recognize that sports media, espescially the Italian sports media isn't worth 1.25 they charge for their pathetic rags. Most of these guys are losers who can barely scratch out a proper sentence and most of the time, because they have nothing intelligent to contribute, they make stuff up and try to stir the pot and provoke a story. Then, when they get called on one of their bogus stories, they play the victim - "everybody picks on the media...." Yeah, who put a front page story about Jimenez being officially signed to Lazio in the summer of 2006????? Bunch of university flunkies.
I'm willing to give Lotito until January and then I will judge. I'm not saying I expect Adriano, but I want to see a step in the right direction. I don't care if we're out of the CL, CI and securely in 8th place either - the point is he owes it to the fans to honour the jersey.

I think the equivelent of the media saying we 'overachieved' last year is the same as saying 'we had no luck this year'. Absolutely no excuses can be made at this point. I wouldn't recommend changing a president every 3 years .. but I'd for sure take my chances with anyone else at this point.
Not to put blame on Lotito only, but this team simply cant compete in two competitions we simply dont have the players enough for 1 competition let alone two. Obviously rossi is saving players for the CL match. But what a strange lineup today ... Manfredini as as striker ????? Makinwa as a mid ???? We still depend on Tare ??? Scaloni trying to shoot who is this guy ??? Our defense is slow and has been outrun a number of times .. this is an absolute disaster.
We knew we needed quality players and the injury crisis would'nt have been so bad if the positions that were supposed to be filled in the summer such as a striker and a central defender would have been dealt with. Lotito must leave end of story. So now we have to watch this team get ravaged more by inter and juve before we hope to see any positive addition (we hope) to the team.
Lotito Vateneeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'm not saying it's the only reasons -but we have been unlucky as well. Then again - simply saying Lotito has to go ignores a lot of other problems. I am simply stating (and have been for a while) that our problems are much more complex than simply Lotito's stupidity.

All that happened this year is because of Lotito's stupidity. Injuries/bad luck can happen from time to time but what has happened this year is nothing but stupidity. Lotito took a team that through hard determination and some luck got into 3rd last year. That team used all its energy to obtain the position and focused soley on that obtaining that position. This year there is double the work, stronger competition and a major part of the team (Peruzzi left) all of which Lotito would know about. So knowing this what did he do? he gets a bunch of Serie B/C players, discarded prospects that other teams gave up on replacing departures (foggia, Jiminez etc) and even if he got Carizzo it would just even out the loss of Peruzzi. This Team not only didn't improve it went backwards and with increased workload in a more competitive enviroment. Lotito is an Idiot isn't there money in success, CL good strategy he has. A season in which so much success was achieved a year ago is now demolished and become a fight for relegation. Seriously look at the schedule where are these wins going to come from, Inter, Juve, Palermo, Napoli, Genoa?? All I see are losses and mabye draws based on their performance so far. If they lose at Werder CL is over and if a miracle doesn't happen in January the season is lost also. Carizzo is not going to be Enough!!!

Taken from channel4.com .. probably b.s, but its amazing how the finger gets pointed to Rossi .. who i'm sure no fan has questioned about the team failing. The man we know as the 'miracle worker'.
Here's some news for you Lotito .. Guidolin is not going to fix our problem!
Lazio are struggling and the pressure is building on Coach Rossi, prompting rumours that President Claudio Lotito has already approached Guidolin.

Negro: Lotito is ruining Lazio Saturday 1 December, 2007 Former Biancocelesti legend Paolo Negro has launched a scathing attack on President Claudio Lotito for ?tearing out the Lazio heart from the club.?
He was at the Stadio Olimpico for 10 years and became their captain before he moved on to Siena, but is now out of contract.
Both his old clubs face off this Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, giving Negro the opportunity to comment.
?I have a lot of anger within me about how I was kicked out by Lotito. I gave him two years during which I wasn?t even paid,? slammed the defender on Radio Spazio Aperto.
?Someone like me, who does anything to stand by his side, was forced to leave. I was also ?threatened? during the period when I was frozen out of the squad.?
Lotito saved the side from bankruptcy, but his decisions and treatment of players such as Paolo Di Canio created a big rift with the Ultras.
?In the last day of the 2004-05 season, after 10 years at Lazio, I was not allowed to do a lap of honour to salute the fans. I had to go in the Curva to meet with them.?
Negro is just the latest ex-Biancocelesti hero to criticise Lotito for his running of the side, as Angelo Peruzzi also attacked the patron.
?He doesn?t want to make any investments and slowly all the Lazio figures have been kicked out,? explained Negro.
?He is tearing out the Lazio heart from the club. If he didn?t, there would be too much talk about Peruzzi, Di Canio and Negro, not enough praise for Lotito.?
Nonetheless, the former Italian international has no intention of hanging up his boots just yet.
?My contract with Siena expired, so I am now training by myself. A few teams have contacted me, but I still feel that I am a Serie A player and will wait until January to see if I can have any other opportunities.?

Allow me to be completely cynical. WOW players and owners blaming each other for problems. I think the only ones who care about S.S. Lazio is us, the fans. I think that both owners and players need to recognize something, we're the ones for whom it costs something in this equation. The players get paid and the owners make money - we only lose money. It costs me to follow the team ($110 for seriea tv, $40 for UEFA feeds of the CL, I also pay for RAI 6.99/mo none of this includes paraphernalia since you don't need it, strictly speaking to follow the team). So, at the end of the day, proportionally, who is actually losing money and who is making it??? If I didn't care about this team I would have about $250 more a year - and, this might come as a surprise to greedy owners and spoiled players, I don't make 500,000 or even "No Frills" Lotito's 250,000 Euros a year. This is all ver self-righteous and idealistic but sometimes I think to myself, who, other than the fans, really gives a damn? panem et circensis
Chi non ama la Lazio, Vattene!!!!! 00
