What about Muslera??? He left Lazio only because of our beloved president No he didn't. Muslera left because he wanted to be paid more and his agent is a riomanista pdm who thinks about his own interests above all - even his client.

The reason the CN and specifically the IRR dislike him is simple - he ended many of the perks Cragnotti gave them - including $ and tickets.
Yes, not to mention some of the curva, three high ranking members of IRR if memory serves, went to prison and have been banned from the stadium as well. They blame him for that from what I've heard/read. How true it is I have no idea. My issue has been the poor mercato's. I can't complain too much this summer. We've signed some decent enough players and perhaps more crucially have kept most of our best ones. Lich and Muslera have gone but they were no in my opinion key reasons why we finished 5th last year.

^^ Espescially in light of CL and EL qualifications. I am somewhat happier with the way he approached this year's obligations, but tbh, I'd like to see a little more (i.e. a strong CB) .
as for the IRR leaders , he had them arrested and banned for allegedly threatening his life if memory serves me. Anyway it's one of those situations rife with allegations and few clear facts.

I know people have their opinions of the IRR but it was nice to see them out again, house-arrest free.

Good to hear Baggio10. Last year the stands were woefully attended by our standards. We can only hope more fans pack the stands this year.

Lotito has done a good job in my eyes. Of course this is coming off a great season and a good-great offseason pending. What bothered me the most bout Lotito the most was 2 seasons ago when we were fighting for relegation he was turning a blind eye to the crisis Lazio was having and wanted to invest as small as possible and not replace any favourites on and off the field (i.e Ballardini Baronio). He just covered everything up with the SuperCoppa win and it was so brutal the way he couldnt admit Lazio was falling to relegation and took such a passive approach to do anything about it. Thankfully Reja came in in time as well as Floccari.
But besides that season, Lotito has made me happy with the money hes starting to put into Lazio and the comments he makes for defending Lazio. Lotito usually is not the one to have his voice heard with other Presidents waiting to follow in his footsteps. We have a good Roman President in my eyes and hopefully his ambitions can follow through and not give false hope.

The latest round of Calciopoli sentences has dished out 1 year and 3 month sentence to Lotito, plus 25k Euros and a 3 year ban from attending sporting events. I' like to see how this actually turns out, but frankly, this is all a load of bullshit. boh?

ditto. It is worth mentioning that this will not lead to an imprisonment of the Lazio patron, as there are several levels of appeal that can be followed as per Italian law. All convicted names will have 90 days to know the grounds on which the decision was based and can prepare their appeal accordingly.

On some point before, maybe was good idea to "lock" Loti behind bars, but now? No way, he did all what he could for Lazio, and that isn`t all. The club will be on LOSS, if he get some penalty. But, after appeal, he will get parole and some money penalty. So, everything will be much on the place. Forza Lotito, FORZA LAZIO.

Respect to Weninho from Sweden for bringing this to light on the other forum: What's your thoughts?
As for today, SS Lazio officially own it's historical archive of images and footages stored at RAI for 50 years back in time. The cost to obtain the rights ahead of the opening of LazioStyle TV-channel were €13,6 millions. The deal is made only weeks after the acquisition of the building on Via Valenziano, a deal that costed Lazio around 7,5 millions.
So all in all, Claudio Lotito has spent 21 millions in the new year on a bulding and on a Media Library. Nothing was however spent on the mercato in the race for a CL-spot. Unless we intend to play the building in central defense and the Media Library as a midfielder left.
What's your opinion? An important and symbolic gesture worth the 14 millons, or a waste of potential mercato-money?

I was going to post this myself this evening. It's not a waste. Our identity is critical - otherwise we are saying it doesn't matter that we are Rome's first football team. When I see stuff like this, it's hard to say Lotito is wrong all the time - or that he's a riomer. Why spend this money otherwise. This is a significant investment in our history. Bravo!
