So we have got out of this little tricky period of games like the derby and some sides who could potentially stifle us a bit, whilst dealing with key injuries at certain times.  We have got through it fairly well with a majority of wins there and avoiding defeat.  The next little period is very crucial with parma (h), Napoli (A), Juve (H) with novara (H) being our schedule short term.  We can't afford to lose at all, and the napoli and juve games can't be three points handed over, if we are facing defeat we need to take the draw. Moment where we need to kick away from that cluster in the middle and really establish ourselves as one of those genuine top end of the table teams.  Milan are cruising now, so find wins everywhere so we need to keep getting points.

Parma we should take care of, Napoli away will be hostile and tough but they are blowing hot and cold a bit so we could do damage there, Juve at home if we really take it to them we can win, sides at the bottom and mid-table trouble them so why can't we and novara we simply must beat, can't be throwing away points to the new boys!  Could be potentially excitingly well placed in a few weeks if we have the right attitude. Forza Lazio!

Interesting period of games, indeed. Parma next week will be tricky, they have some good players but anything but a win will be a disappointment. As far as current form goes Milan are on fire, they can't stop scoring. Realistically it's hard not to see Milan and Udinese win next weekend, but Juve will do well to get something from Naples.

this is when w prove what we're really made of (I realize that in the serie A, you do that every week) but... are we for real or ar we merely a "fuoco di paglia" as they say.

True. I certainly don't expect this club to challenge for the title, I'm realistic that we don't have the financial resources of other clubs in the league. Still, that does not mean we cannot win these games. Personally, out of all of them I'd love to see us take Juve at home. It's been a while and they, along with Milan, are the form side of late.

Sure, we don't have the financial power of milanjuveinter, but we can challenge teams like merda, Napoli, as the latter had a great campaign last year. Of course, it's way too early, but I think we have the quality for a top three finish, unfortunately not the depth for a parallel success in EL.

Parma we can certainly win, Napoli we can win, and they are going through an odd spell at the minute. But we can beat an on form Napoli on our day. Juve will be a tough game (ill be at Olimpico for that one, and Novara the week after).

I genuinely think we can challenge for top 3. Id put money on the season finishing Juve, Milan, Us.

Lot of home games coming up and I want three points from all of them. Parma and Novara should be two victories, Juve will be tough but we're on a 7 match unbeaten run, and if Klose continues to score why the hell not aim for a win vs them? The game in Naples will be tough but Napoli have to face Man City in the CL just three days after so they might not field a full strength squad. 3 wins out of 4 would be fantastic.

I think we can definitely challenge for the scudetto, I'm not saying win it, but fight for it no doubt. Juve are not a big team, I dont think even Milan are better than us right now (that's why we ahead of them).

Do not underestimate your team.

It's still very early really but Parma and Novara are winnable. The other two are much more difficult. Napoli are blowing hot and cold because they are playing hard in two competitions, whereas we have rotated the squad much much more. I guess it depends which Napoli turns up, the one which roasted Milan 3-1 at home or the one that lost to Parma.

I just hope our team considers every game at a time so they dont feel the pressure! Just thinking about beating the next opponent!
I would really enjoy challenging for the Scudetto even if I dont wanna consider a victory at this stage! But it enjoys me to scare the big guns again! Like the days Fiore and Liverani killed a pissed off Juve side!
That are the moments, that are realistic and enjoybale and maybe we wake up five matchdays before the end and are still in the race!! Then we really can go for it and consider!! But the pressure on us won't get less! And our squad (except from Klose) dont really now, what it is to be in such a postition, especially from a mental point!
Just take the draw against the big guns and win it against the other ones! And we are going far this season!
Novara and Parma are the must, if we wanna get there nearly.. Napoli will show if our sweetest dreams are considerable! And even the draw against (for me) THE Scudetto Team this yyear (Juve) and we gonna take the next stage/episode until Winterrtansfer window...
