At this point, what good can it do to whistle the players. This is what we've got, I want to stay up in Serie A and it's probaby better we tighten ranks around the team and hope for the best. As odious as Mauri is, we have to depend on him at this point and we have to cheer for him  - we have no choice.

Forza Lazio!

*sigh* more bullshit from the righteous king of the CN again.

Yeah, forget whistling a player that has missed sitters 4 or 5 games in a row... and arguably extra points. Forget his shit performances. Let's forgive him and love him. Just like Makinwa and Baronio. Just like Lotito.

If you were one of those who protested against Lotito (though you wouldn't do such a thing... it is not 'proper' and we should support the way the club is run regardless  ) then you would absolutely have been one of those who cheered for Firmani because he is a Laziale. Screw everything else. Forget the fact the ineptitude of the players on the pitch is costing us. Lets praise all the shit players and give them all contract renewals until 2050

But, your worship... I'm afraid I'm going to ignore your advice. Forza Lazio by all means, but I'm going to carry on doing it my way - praising the good, but especially criticizing the bad,  just like I would if I was attending the games themselves. Sorry if it's not normal. Really I am. I guess I'll have to live with it. It'll be difficult. But I'll give it a go.

Sure whistle them and create such an unnerving atmosphere that what little we can expect from them is completely lost and we in fact do end up relegated. Brilliant really, sort of like punching out the lifeguard whose trying to save you because he didn't show up as quickly as you'd have liked. This is the situation we're in, yes it's because of the likes of Mauri and Lotito etc., but unless we all want to be listening to games on the radio from Lecce and Triestina next year, the only viable option is to try to create a supportive atmosphere as possible until we're safe. After that, unleash hell all summer and to start the new year.  Irrational nonsense.

Irrational nonsense.

This is internets. Player abuse doesn't matter.

And to be honest, people pay money to go to the games, and imo they can do whatever the hell they like for that reason. Oh, and a little something called 'freedom of expression' as well.

Still, if we get relegated, you have your alibi, you'll just blame the fans. Never mind the fact that Lotito is a very important reason (or even the sole reason) for the 'bad atmosphere.'

I will not hide my feelings. Ever.

No, but some fans will only have made things worse. Two or three or four wrongs don't make a right.

As for your feelings....

Sure, we should only support the team You equate supporting the colours with supporting Lotito or a given player - it's facile. Whe Mauri wears our jersey I think we have no choice but to try to encourage him as best we can.

^^ To what end? Making him play just a little worse? Perhaps a few more mistakes? We can't afford them. Until we're out of this situation, I don't see what good it does to mercilessly attack our players WHILE they play for us. We're only hurting ourselves.

*sigh*

Players are not empty vessels who have no brains to themselves. Not all players are weak willed like Cribari, who visibly cry at abuse. He was lame. Same as Mauri (who can't understand why he got whistled). And Baronio (Who can't understand why he doesn't play anymore). The link? Shit players. Which are an embarrassment to the fans and to the name of SSL. I get angry when I watch them. I want to hurl abuse at them as much as possible. Just like the fans at the stadium. That is normal behaviour to me.

So basically, you can shove your principles up your arse. It's always, for every f*****g subject, your way or the highway, and if people don't agree with you, you marginalise them or belittle them - Pandev issue, Lotito issue, 'realist' issue, whatever. I'm sick of your shit. (Don't even begin to suggest that I do the same thing; my one and only principle is my preference that people support only Lazio...nothing wrong with that, and most people can see why)

Your way or the highway? I'll listen to Kraftwerk thanks.

I think Cribari is not the only one who's too emotional around here. Oh my!

Its not Siviglia, Baronio and Mauri the once to blame. It our fucking management, they simple want loyal bitches. While Kolarov and Muslera wait for conntract renewal and earning peanuts.

Bingo. This is what I have always said. We should no longer be seeing fuckheads like them on the field any longer, but we continue to see our disillusion coaches have faith in them. And Mauri Baronio are closer to renewals than Kolarov and Muslera. Nice. These three clowns along with Ledesma has been the captain when Rocchi doesn't start; funny thing is they are the worst on the team.

When you look at our midfield what do we really have that is effective.

Hitz
Ledesma
Matz

All the same type of player, central mid, some defensive ability, some passing ability but no real vision.  They are like general contractors not specialized but still useful.  Hitz was supposed to be the good and well reccomended general contractor where Ledesma and Matz are like scam artists that run away with you deposit

(Limited Usage to 1 on the field per time and must possess some amount of motivation to have any effect)

Mauri -I can see why he gets onto the field always able to get into scoring chances but never able to finish, tries overhead kicks other bs etc.  Runs around like a headless chicken. (Never Useful)

Brocchi - the pitbull like player that plays defence and a bargain Gattuso like player.  Useful but aging

Dabo, Manfredini (ALL USELESS)  To say Serie C players can be a bit harsh but age and lack of ability would put these players in definite Serie B territory and the older they get even Serie B won't take them.  Next time a shit player wants to resign DON'T RESIGN & AT MINIMUM SHORT TERM.  I wish I could get a job to sit on the bench watching Lazio games for $$100s/year.

Meghni, Baronio (Failed Prospects)  Next time a player is labeled the next.... could be a bad sign, not they they asked to be called the next zidane or pirlo but they have as much in common with these star players as there is to cheese.

Foggia - (Can be Useful)  Great at times gone the next, I think we should keep him unless the right offer were to come along and should see how he does when healthy again.

So what kind of midfield can you make with this lineup??

Don;'t want to blame Reja just yet, but when you put down the cards we don't have any paint or aces.  Only Hitz and Foggia really stand out but for some reason they are not in gear and there is not alot of time left to get going, we can;t afford off seasons from them.

Defenders these are obvious, Everyone OUT minus Radu and Kolarov, Stendardo is good now only because of the others around him for comparison

Strikers Rocchi is slowing down, Flocarri is not on fire like the start and Cruz is just shit but this entire fiedl is VOID, why, because our midfield is shit and can't distribute the ball or set up chances.  MINIMUM 3-4 chances per game going to a STRIKER NOT MAURI

Makinwa, Inzaghi not worth a comment

At the end of the day this group is all we have to escape Serie B but its obvious from incidents ranging from attacks at the formello to chants to banning the curva nord that they don;t respond. Lazio Needs a Takeover Bid or Lotito needs to get to work.   Lotito has to Pick at least 1 either:

A) Spend his Own Money

or

B) Raise Money from Outside Investments

As long as we buy scraps how can this team compete respectably.  Torino is struggling in Serie B but Reggina was in Serie A not long ago and they are going into C at current pace.  They were always fighters as the reason I mention them.  Its not Impossible
