LAZIO PATRIA NOSTRA

It seems a couple days ago someone purchased 2.5% of the Lazio shares available on the market. The shares saw a sudden jump of more than 11% - the question is why and who? The purchase was made over three hours. Significantly, 2.5% is the threshold for a shareholder to have a seat/vote in the organization. There is great speculation as to whether this is one person or more and whether this could bring a significant investment in the club...or maybe a new owner. boh?

I'll cross my fingers, and for you believers out there pray that this is a new owner in the makings.

No. Lotito would still hold 67% share. He has said he will welcome somebody but made one thing very clear; he will be involved with management support , rather then interfering with the management of the organization i.e Lotito's job.

Parade officially pissed on.

Impossible to imagine that would sway Lotito one way or the other. I think it has become pretty clear that he has no intention whatsoever to sell his shares. It will be curious to see who made the investment and for what purpose, though.

More movement yesterday and today, we're up to 4%+. Consob will clarify in the next couple days. The question is whether it's just speculation or if it's a single purchaser. I don't think anyone is suggesting Lotito will leave, but who knows. Either way it's interesting...to a degree.

Lets hope not.

It is interesting, and it will come out in the wash somewhen.
