I wanna see Lazio get some Italians. The only Italian regular is Rocchi. De Silvestri, Siviglia, Mauri, Brocchi, Foggia and Inzaghi are the rest of Italians i can think of that play sometimes but none of them is really a regular starter. No one in the Primavera is given a chance (Tuia or Mendicino spring to mind), so mostly there are only 3 italians playing in a game. There are some good Italians playing for lesser teams (Floccari, Rosina fx). Am i the only one who is bothered by this? Would hate to see us end up like Arsenal or Inter.

And on a completely different note, Nesta. I have always held on to the dream of him coming back and finishing his career with us. I read somewhere that that was his dream. Is there no hope now?

Well to be honest the only think I care now is our results, I want to see lazio Win games and play good but that's not bad idea at all, since Lazio is italian club, there should be more italian starters, but now we need a new coach(no matter if he isn't italian).

FORZA LAZIO !!!

I'm italian and believe me I want to see this team simply do well .. i don't care what nationality is wearing the jersey as long as they win.

I no what he's trying to say which i half agree with. We should be introducing some young italians from the youth squads and give them a go. This happened at West ham when they were coming last they blooded some kids from the youth squad and they brought bck that passion the team needed at the time. Get some young players that are dreaming 4 a go. Even if they dont leave the bench they will be getting that self belief and first team experience.
Whether or not their italian it doesnt mean really anything but it would be good 4 a Roman that has that lazio blood in side him.  00

Nesta? Why Nesta? He is injured all the time and he'll play just a few matches in a whole season! also I think that he will never recover his greatest form... It's a shame how a great talent can be wasted by injuries.

It really doesnt matter if we have Italians or not. Maybe is more good because they have been playing in that league and foreigners are kind of slow in adopting.

BTW some of our greatest players were internationals.

I think some good Italian shoul be in squad, because they can understand better Italy League conditions. However, as olon as team win, it's not matter what player's nationality is.

I like to see Italians in our side obviously and Rocchi appear to be the only regular, but Foggia should be for sure. He scored four goals in a friendly yesturday so why Rossi continues to ignore him is beyond me. De Silvestri has real quality and perhaps has only been shelved for Lichsteiner at the mo, but i think De Silvestri could play on the right wing also and perhaps should, he has a great cross. Tuia will make the squad sooner rather than later and being only 18/19 will make a bug impact for the future for sure. Ive said beofre that we have promising youngsters and could only be four to five years away from actually winning the scudetto if we manage to keep them. Tuia, De Silvestri and Foggia could be a big part of this, akin to nesta, marchegiani and negro those few years ago. Ultimately tho the team wont be all italian ever, but this is not important as we have a great tradition with foreign players, argentines, serbian macedonian and other great nations also which is what Lazio is all about. Its what makes it a special club world wide

I hope you will be right bro. 8 years passed. We miss to see Lazio as a champion.

I don't care if they're Italian or not, so long as they bring honour to the jersey.  00

Italians respect the jersey more. This season the only guys who seem to give a shit about the club are Foggia and De Silvestri, they are passionate performers and we could use a little Italian passion right now.

I agree, it kind of hurts to see we use barely any home grown talent.  I think it is better to have as many good Italian players as possible.  I dont think we should give preference to guys just because theyre Italian (the best team should be fielded regarldess of nationality) but it would be nice if we could pick up a few more guys who know how special it really is to play with a team like Lazio in serie a.   00

I'd rather see Lazio in last place with a full Italian lineup than Lazio in first place with something similar to the present Inter lineup.

Who care's really ? What a dumb topic to begin with only waiting for even dumber answers. I'll probably care when the italian national team doesn't have italians who gives a shit where they're from on Lazio. That's the same as saying you'd rather have Amoruso than Ibrahimovic... no thanks!

Get good players but don't turn into an Inter or an Arsenal.
