I've not heard anything recently. Hopefully in January we can get a decent replacement, who i don't know.

To touch on a point in another thread that Ballardini is the most failing coach i'd like to see what results we get once the mercato is over and see if he excels when we don't play shit players. But I say if we lose one game against a small team .. eject his ass.

Teams worth much less than Lazio and have far worse players have decided to sack their coaches. Lotito's choice to mismanage the club like this by keeping a failing coach is a mystery.

According to Goal.com

Lazio Coach Davide Ballardini: Sack Stories Don't Bother Me
Ballardini says he knows nothing about losing his job...

Davide Ballardini is unconcerned about news claiming he will be sacked by Lazio and replaced with former Napoli coach Edy Reja.

A dip into the relegation zone has seen president Claudio Lotito pick up the phone and call Reja, according to Italian reports.

But Ballardini seemed unfazed when questioned about his future at the club.

"Do I risk the sack? I don't know anything," he told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

"Do these rumours bother me? Absolutely not."

His team have won just two of their last 15 games, and lost 1-0 at home to Catania on Sunday - a result that saw them leapfrogged by the Etnei in the standings.

According to TMW sources, coach Davide Ballardini is actually having a meeting with Lazio executives. As anticipated, the club has already decide to replace him, but Ballardini doesn't seem intennioned to resign.

Hopefully Lotito and Tare will eventually make their exits in the near future too.
