Well it seems like its pretty official, as Edy Reja has resigned from his current club to come to Lazio according to Lazialita. Hopefully he can get this club out of relegation and escape the possibility of Serie B.

I hope Reja can do it.  He is signed until end of the year with an option for another year.  With Napoli Reja loved the 3-5-2 formation.  We will see what happens against Parma.  I hope ledesma will start for the game.

Can't get worse than Ballardini anyway! We should be say P6 or P7 with the squad we have, and Reja did OK with Napoli, so I hope he'll save us from the unthinkable at least.

Forza

Well it was about fucking time.

Welcome sir, I hope you can make those kids behave and start playing for the symbol for once in a while. Just keep us alive.

EDIT: I just read one funny stuff, he was sacked from Napoli just after Lazio beat them with 2-0. LOL lets hope this is some kind of his revenge .

All this reaction reminds me the time Delio Rossi left the club , every1 was so overjoyed that he left and Balla came...Well , what i mean is , first wait to see what Reja can do and then start jumping from happines guys...The only thing that is different is that when ROssi left we wasnt swearing him...haha Anyway Forza lazio ! I hope for good results !

^^^ I know what your saying - careful what you wish for and all that. But for myself, I said that I still liked and respected Rossi but felt that he had lost the room sort of speak which I suppose happens to all coaches. I still think Rossi is a great coach but he had to go for everyone's sake including his own. Ballardini, on the other hand, is an absolute disaster. He has to go because he's been completely useless as a coach and has managed to do little good.

oh and btw at Napoli did he not play eithert 5-3-2 or even the 4-3-3 ?

If I remember rightly, it was both, your right. He either played 3 CB's and two WB's, i.e 5-3-2 or , before that, he played 4-3-3 with Lavezzi as a wing forward for example.
He started of as 4-3-3 but was criticized for the lack of width, hence he was bought Datolo and he starting playing with width.

Bottom line is two things.

(A This is a manager that likes width. Which is what we all want in truth , and none of this long ball down the middle bullshit. As a consequence, all you Foggia fans may get what you wish for.

(2 This is a good manager - his record at Napoli proves that. It ended sourly for him at Napoli in the end, much like it did for Rossi at us, but generally the class of managers shines through eventually, if the manager has any to begin with, unlike the hairless one.
Reja took Napoli from Serie C to Europe for peets sake and was very unlucky to get knocked out by Benfica.

There can be no doubt from now on - it is up to the players to raise themselves and keep Lazio in the division. Reja will do everything in his power to help. But this is a great chance for the players.

Width is great.  I think foggia likes playing on the right since he loves to cut into the middle of the field and shoot.  I really hope he plays kolarov on the left wing because we have so many defenders and radu can replace kolarov at left back.

The players now have the chance to impress Reja, raise their game and make a case for a place in the starting 11. It is a great opportunity for players like Foggia, I agree and Il Capitano as well. Personally Ive been insulted by the way Ballamerda treated him, making him warm up for virtually 60 minutes against Chievo, giving Baronio his captains armband which is/was ridiculous beyond words.

Reja will not mess around, and is used to developing players that have quality as well, Marek Hamsik and Lavezzi for example, and taking them to the next level. Hopefully, he can do this with Zarate before his career and our 22 million get flushed down the drain, because he has been abysmal this season considering the standards he set last year.

I totaly agree with you, plus Reja have to show Zarate that coach's have the authority in the squad when it comes to a personality of Mauro's calibre.
"You will not pass the ball - you wont play! ". Something that Capello did with Ibra, screaming on the field for a pass its a option too.

When it comes to coaches in modern football ,they have to be ready for everything on the pitch.Putting the right sub at the right moment, transforming formations and good instructions throu out the game.

I really believe that Edy have quality's of a great coach. The situation that he is takingover from its not good ,he will have a lot of work and we will se what happens.

probably 3 - 5 - 2 formation
Gk-Muslera ;  Dc-Radu;Dc-Diaz;Dc-Diakite or Stendardo  MR-Lichtstanier ; ML-Kolarov ; Mc-hitzsperger ; Mc- Ledesma ; Amc-Foggia ;Fc-Zarate; Fc-Rocchi or Floccari
