Guys, He was sacked from Cagliari. Bizarre to say the least. I'm just playing devils advocate here.. but we were linked to him in the Summer... and... Reja's contract is up, and for sure I put him as a better coach then Reja. Would I take him.. YES! But I guess Milan or Juve are going to hire himself instead perhaps? Otherwise, the sacking is completely bizarre and unfathomable for me. Sure they haven't won since February... but he has worked miracles with that team at times. Discuss.

Reja will be resigned for sure, especially if we win the derby. As long as we avoid relegation, I'm pretty sure reja will be resigned. He will probably end up going to Milan or Juve.

Mah! Allegri is a good coach and I was already speaking to someone today about the fact that it is unlikely that Reja will stay on more than a couple years (he said so himself). I think at this point if we're going to have some kind of massive restructuring with a new DS (i.e. LoMonaco, Marino, Nani etc.) and a new liason/manager (i.e. Peruzzi) we should probably have a new coach too chosen from the new staff. If it's Reja and he wants to comitt to the long term (i.e. 4 years +) that's fine by me. But I somehow doubt he does. Thus, Allegri is a good choice, but In light of his work at Catania, maybe it's time for Miha. Anyway, I hear Juve is close to getting Benitez (morons) sooooooooooo that and a buck fifty will get you a macchiato.

Me and Imper spoke about this after our game monday and I'm not convinced restructuring management will make a world of difference. Can't complain with Reja as he's almost dug us out of the hole we were in most of this embarassing season, hence a coach has SOME bearing .. but what can we expect from a new DS or other management ? Other puppets to lotito and/or guys working on a shoestring budget ? But I think these changes really mean shit in the end. This has to be the worst run club in Serie A .. and you don't even need to be a Lazio fan to recognize this as my friends who are juve and napoli cans even see that lotito is root of our problems. In summery VATTENE ROMANISTA DI MERDA!

^^^ It depends on WHO comes in. Tare was chosen because he's a lap dog - and the results are obvious. If on the other hand we get a guy like Lo Monaco (just an example of a competent well respected professional) it will mean, necessarily, that Lotito has given him control of the team because a guy like that doesn't come to take orders from anyone, he comes to give them. That is partly what Reja's done. If that is the case, restructuring will make a huge difference.
If Lotito can reduce his jobs to the following two responsibilities, it will work: 1. Sign cheques 2. Sit in the tribuna with a scarf on and grin stupidly at the camera

It's the signing cheque's part that is the issue. Even if we get Lo Monaco .. the conversation would still be like this: Lo Monaco: Great news .. i just found this central defender from country X that is dependable, consistent, young and looking to prove himself with a team like Lazio and wants to come but he wants 650 K a season. Lo Tirchio: hmmmmmmmm... uuuuuuuuuh ... 650 K ??? is there anything you can find within the 200 K a season price range ?

^^ But he did shell out quite a bit for the likes of Zarate, Carizzo etc. So I suspect it's not a matter of spending money, but spending it more wisely perhaps.

I really don't understand our financial situation. Lotito wants us to believe its not good, but then he goes and spends 20m on zarate. He is cheap fuck mostly. He won't spend cash on someone unless he gets them on loan, sees how they do and then he will buy them. When is the last time lazio actually bought a player for more than 5m without previously owning them on loan? Not all teams want to give their players away on loan. Your only going to get mediocre players on loan. Floccari is a bit of an exception, we got lucky with him.

I'm way passed giving him crediblility for ANYTHING. I guess when he does spend big however rare that is .. he spends wrong. Carizzo was a bad choice .. and Zarate is looking more and more like one too... both coincidentally argentines. Not to mention the other big argentine we signed last summer (Cruz). The unbalance of where the money goes elswhere and exits overshadows whatever Zarate/Carizzo represent in terms of spending. The last two mercato's were atrocious and I'm not just talking about what bananas we've signed but also what we lost over the last year. So i assure you whether its lomonaco, peruzzi or a monkey .. situation will most likely be the same.
