I think this is a very good line up and foggia is readily available if we need an extra attacking option

Matu Ledesma

Zarate Rocchi
Seems logical, there is no many choices though.

I like this, but for me if Foggia is ready then unleash him and move Kolarov into defence, Radu has not played much lately could be rusty.

Lazio President Lotito Targets Coppa Italia The Biancocelesti supremo is keen to see his side reach the final of the domestic tournament... Inconsistency has plagued Lazio all season long. The Biancocelesti sat at the top of the table earlier in the campaign but have since fallen into mid-table obscurity. However, a couple of winning results against Roma and Genoa in the past two weeks have put them in reach of Europe once again.
President Claudio Lotito wants the club to overcome its erratic form and feels that eliminating Juventus in the Coppa Italia semi-finals is a step in the right direction.
"It's not a dream. but it is a key challenge for all of us," the Aquilotti patron explained on the program La Politica nel Pallone.
"[Reaching] the final would be the end of a difficult cycle and the beginning of one that is new and positive.
"Finding Lazio in the final would mean that we have returned to the elite in terms of our value in this sport."
Lazio visit Turin to play the Bianconeri in the return-leg on Wednesday evening, holding a 2-1 aggregate advantage.

Hahahahahhahaha, Yeah right. New cycle, Lazio in history wasn't under the 8 spot, two years in a row under it makes a cycle. How can someone said that Lazio has return to the elite when we are currently in 9th position and we can basically say "good bye" with one more year without Europe.

Lazio Captain Tommaso Rocchi Sets Sights On Coppa Italia Glory Rocchi insists that Lazio want to make history tomorrow night, however, he is still disappointed at being omitted in the derby. Lazio travel to Turin tomorrow to face Juventus in the return leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final hoping to defend their slender 2-1 lead. Captain Tommaso Rocchi is aware that this competition could be their best chance to secure a place in next season’s Europa League.
“Our objective was to return to Europe this season and managing it by winning the Coppa Italia would be fantastic,” Rocchi told Tuttosport.
“It would certainly be our best season over the past few years because lifting a trophy would go down in history.”
Rocchi has earned just 11 starting appearances so far in Serie A and had to content himself with a substitute’s role in the recent Derby della Capitale victory over Roma.
“It’s never nice to stay out, particularly in games like the derby,” he explained.
“But the important thing is to be ready when called upon and respect the coach’s choices.
“I was not really used to this situation but this has been a weird season and several factors have prevented me from giving my best, particularly the injury sustained at the Olympics.”
Rocchi missed the start of the season after fracturing a bone in his foot while on international duty with the Italian side at the Beijing Olympics.

Anybody else starting to get annoyed by Rocchi's attitude? He can no longer be regarded as first choice, nor can he have possibly any reason to consider himself first choice. Even if Rocchi scores against Juve or whatever he may do for us in the next few years.. I'm getting sick of him and would actually prefer us to get in somebody just as talented but younger... i'm sure it's possible... thinking about it, Kozak off the bench instead of Rocchi next season? Sounds good to me.

I think Rocchi's attitude has actually been pretty good. No player should be happy with a substitutes role but if he's prepared to accept it this shows he has Lazio at heart. Eventually he wiil move on or become rarely used once Kozak is deemed ready to play in the big time.

Kozak is ready, not fully though....he is 19 i guess and should be given chances with other young lads........if you are good enough, you are old enough.

Juventus Want The Coppa Italia - Claudio Ranieri
Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has asked his players to rise to the challenge of beating Lazio tomorrow and march towards the Coppa Italia final.
The Bianconeri welcome the Roman side to the Olimpico in the semi-final second leg. Lazio lead 2-1 on aggregate following the game in Rome last month. Ranieri is hoping his side can turn their recent frustration into hunger, determination, and motivation to book themselves a place in the final next month.
"We feel the game against Lazio a lot," Ranieri told Sky Sport Italia.
"We will play a motivated team, they won the Rome derby and they beat Genoa, they are in good form, but we want to get to the final.
"The final? It's an objective for us and we want to reach it. We have won nine Coppa Italias and it would be 10 if we reach the final and win it.
"But we have to keep focusing on the present and play the game tomorrow which will be difficult, but we are ready"
Juve could meet Inter in the final if both sides progress against Lazio and Sampdoria, respectively. However, Ranieri is only thinking about the present rather than the future.
"Inter in the final? We have to beat Lazio first. The most important thing is getting to the final," added the coach.

I'm a little worried about this match. Sure we beat genoa but at what cost ? Pandev being out of this match and the next sunday game is a major blow considering theres a fat chance we'll make uefa through the league so what difference is it if we place 7th or 12th ?
Today is Inter vs. Samp. Samp seem hungry considering they are poor performers in the league and have a great advantage over Inter with their last win.
