Knowing that the team has to battle in the Serie A and in Europe next season, the staff and team will undergo a tight and tough schedule this summer.

The first preparation has been divided in two parts, on 2 locations.
The first part is in the Dolomites, at Auronzo Di Cadore, like the previous years.

none of those friendlies are against any big teams. Although the friendlies are never really a clear indicator of how the team will perform and more of a way for the coach to experiment. I really don't get how our local team here Toronto FC sees off bigger opponents in friendlies than Lazio does.

Supposedly 1 in August will be outside of Italy against a major team.  We haven't played anyone significant since the year we played in the Emirates Cup against the likes of Arsenal and a few other decent teams.

That year we also had prestigious friendlies against Liverpool and Porto... Now we must be content with Real Sociedad?!?! WTF we need to get ready for Europa Managiaaaaa!!!!

Friendlies are largely unimportant, mainly to get match fitness back, and you dont want to play loads of top teams and get beaten, dont want to go into important Europa League and Serie A games with low morale on the back of defeats.

When is the Serie A fixture list normally announced. Im in Roma for 2 weeks in september/october and id like to pick 2 weeks when we have 2 consecutive home games so I can go to both. And if we have a home Europa game, go to that too.

The first half against Cadore.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq7uZ87t-LQ" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq7uZ87t-LQ</a>
A few conclusions from the video.
Bresciano has not progressed much, even against a team like Cadore, he still can't pass and hold the ball.
Klose looked at the right place at the right time.
Konko was quite active on the right flank.
Rocchi, even at his age, he is still a very versatile attacker, we are going to need him.
Brocchi, as good as usual.

It was, against Athletico Madrid and Ajax, of course. Sociedad and Osasuna will be decent enough tests. It will be interesting to see who the major European team is that we are suposedly scheduled to play on August 1st.

I think they're at half and it's 4-0, which is no big deal. But the talk seems to be that the team is obviously stronger on the pitch and that the wings (Lulic and Konko?) are very fast
