This Thursday Lazio will faceoff against FC Zurich at the Olimpico. Lazio are currently sitting at the bottom of the  group however tied with Vaslui and Zurich with only 2 points. I think at this point we can only hope that Sporting beats Vaslui and our best bet might be to aim for the 2nd place spot as sporting are sitting comfortable at the top with 9 points. Hopefully some credibility and hope will be restored and our chances of continuing the gauntlet can continue.

FORZA LAZIO!

Yep, agreed. Strongest side possible here to put us back in the qualification driving seat. Rumour is though Klose will not start, he will be on the bench. Cisse, Rocchi and Hernanes look likely to be the attacking three with Ledesma, Cana and Lulic in behind according to la lazio siamo noi.

        Rocchi - Cisse
           Hernanes
  Lulic - Ledesma - Cana
Radu - Dias - Diakite - Konko
          Marchetti

I think this is the formation and team touted to play. I want to see the strongest side available except Klose, and this is pretty much it.

We have been a disgrace so far in Europa League. I am almost embarrassed we still have a chance to get through. Therefore, I hope we do not only win, which we obviously must, but beat Zürich into submission.

The lineup tested in the training could just as well be a starting XI against Parma apart from Cana. I really do not know what to make out of him but otherwise it looks good to me.

Reja appears to be resting Klose though, this worries me a little.

Although we do need to learn not to rely on him alone for goals, so we will see, and hopefully Tommaso will still be on a high and can bag a couple.

i still think we will be a strong team with klose on the bench and he can come on any time in the match if needs be.3 points are a must to give us space between the other teams on the same points as us

I would say that if we were to win tomorrow without Klose and Cisse which is what the papaers are saying reja wants to do it will be a much needed rest for those two guys and it will prove to me that we are not f***ed with our bench on the feild.

Cana and Stankevicus are the ones that really scare me... they have played shit so far

LLSN has Zauri starting at right back and Luca Crescenzi on the bench. I don't know if Reja is overly confident or just throwing in the towel for Europa League and focusing on our form in Serie A the rest of the year.

Reja says that only one result is acceptable -  a win. So I don't think he's thinking a tie will do it.

For me Reja is taking a risk, attempting to qualify us on a shoe string, as our second string is not close to the level as our best 11 is, while maintaining the momentum in Serie A. I can't say it sits well with me but our second string, if that what it turns out to be, should be comfortable here. There are no excuses really. Hopefully there is a decent crowd as well, attendances have not mirrored the overall impressive start to the season we've made.
