Not concerned about losing this game since Palermo are a strong side fighting for CL and at home.  Big difference in quality and our team did not have a great mentality until Kolarov's goal, could be flu who knows.  One thing is Mauri should not be playing he fools coaches with his darting runs in the box but anyone else and we should have some more goals.   It's great to get points in games like this but its the midtable and weak teams that are the must wins.

Kolarov now joins the hunt for Lazio's Leading Scorer

2009/10 Leaders: Italian Serie A
PLAYER Goals

Julio Cruz 3
Sergio Floccari 3
Mauro Zárate 3

Stefano Mauri 2
Tommaso Rocchi 2
Guglielmo Stendardo 2
Aleksander Kolarov 2

compared to

Udinese
2009/10 Leaders: Italian Serie A
PLAYER Goals
Antonio Di Natale 17
Antonio Floro Flores 7
Simone Pepe 1
Francesco Lodi 1
Gaetano D'Agostino 1
Mauricio Isla 1

or

Bologna
2009/10 Leaders: Italian Serie A
PLAYER Goals
Marco Di Vaio 9
Martins Adailton 5
Marcelo Zalayeta 3
Henry Giménez 3
Pablo Daniel Osvaldo 3
Daniele Portanova 1

We have contributions from defenders, midfielders but definitley need one of our strikers to start standing out like on other teams

OK game except from the defence! Stendardo was the only one defending (and why not let him be captain instead of Mauri?!).
Can't see why Radu wasn't playing (if he was fit?) and even Diakhite would have played better than both Biava and Dias, say what you will about Diakhite but he can actually win the ball!
The referee was incompetent, but i'm getting used to it..

Everytime lazio games are shown on tv I'm dissapointed.  Not that televised serie a is much better than streaming from the computer.  TLN and rai have the worst quality ive ever seen in my entire life.  No wonder people like to watch the fucking epl better.  They got high quality HD and we have retarded italians filming with their camera phones.

Funny you point that out. I heard rumors of Serie A beginning to broadcast in HD but obviously nothing has happened so far. The picture quality looks identical as it did when I was a kid, like looking through a dirty windshield. Rai is not exactly on the cutting edge television technology. I assume it is them who are actually in charge of production. TLN I just takes what they are given.

TLN besides poor video quality has horrible commentary and sound.  You can hear the announcer but the stadium is silent.

Nope, he hurt one of his toes against Parma.

A little off topic but where is Baretto and Hitzelperger ?? Have i missed anything .. Baretto is clearly of age and is Hitz injured ?

We can use a workhorse like Hitz in the midfield and try another striker since our strikers look to score about the same time we see a haleys comet again.

Due to technical problems I wasn't able to catch this one. What can I tell, we all knew that this will be hard one to get but I'm more concern about the upcoming games. Lazio must grow within if we want to stay in this league. 13 more to go.

Next:
Lazio - Fiorentina
Sampdoria - Lazio
Lazio- Bari
Calgari - Lazio

*L, baretto had some transfer issues but I know that he has been playing for primavera. Hitz just needs Ursula.

I honestly think the next games will decide our fate this season because after these games the schedule will get really ugly.

Every player that anyone wanted to see or might have made more of an impact had transfer issues or something else.

The only two players we got in the mercato who are able to play regularly are shit.

I agree that Bari should be at least a possibility it just depends what team shows up on match day, The Cagliari game may be more difficult than even Fiorentina.  Easy to forget since they fly below the radar, Cagliari have an impressive place in the standings in 8th with 1 game unplayed and only 3 points out of a CL spot

When comparing our closest competitors in the relegation race for the next 4 games only several games look like places where they can gain anything

Livorno vs Siena

Livorno vs Atalanta

& possibly Catania vs Chievo

All else look like definite losses for them.

For us these are the winnable games, possible away vs Genoa as the wildcard
Lazio Siena March 24th
Lazio Bologna away April 11th
Lazio Livorno away May 9th
Lazio Udinese May 16th Last game of the year

These games at the end won't be easy either as these teams also fight relegation

A point for the third goal of Palermo which was offside 100000%...If you see Dias in the third goal, you will see that he does not run because he thinks that the ref will point the offside of the player in front..But instead of this, the second player who comes from the back and is not offside takes the ball and Dias starts to run fast to catch him....This was a clear offside because the player in front goes for a moment to the ball, stops immediately and the other comes from behind..Only the move of the illegal player is offside itself...Damn ref....

Wow i don't even know where to begin. What a disgrace.

Siviglia>Dias and Biava. What shitheads we signed. These fuckers cant defend got shit. Reja probably played these clowns just because they are new additions. If Reja was truly smart, he would never play these fuckers again. How in the world did these guys make it pro? How,, it truly is impossible. They did nothing and were the cause of all three goals.

1st goal. Why the fuck is Kolarov tracking back when he is a wide midfielder. Where the fuck was Biava on that play. Honestly.. where was he? There's a reason why Kolarov isn't defense anymore and yet he has to cover Biava's field and try to do his dirty work. How was Hernandez so alone with Kolarov? The striker should always be marked by the defense and the sweeper should be there just in case the defender is beaten. Where was Biava and Stendardo? They should have tracked back and defended Hernandez, not our wide midfielder!

2nd & 3rd goal. Courtesy of Dias. I don't know why Dias feels that he doesn't have to give an effort in defense. Who here saw him atleast jogging this game? It's like Lazio just picked him off the street. Lazio were literally playing with 2 defenders and 1 of them being dumbwitted as Dias. Unfucking believable. I want to see Diakite in, clearly the better option now to Reja.

Dias-Ledesma. How many fucking times can Pastore run through these two assholes. Wherever, however Pastore wanted to get by them it was no problem. Like ok he's a good player, but common you have to observe a pattern or strategy to atleast contain him if you aren't going to give the effort to stop him. Every damn time.

Ledesma showing what he can do best. Giving away the ball more times than he made passes. Bravo Ledesma. If I was president and I got an offer for 2 million, here is out my door within my next heartbeat.

And what is up with Lichsteiner? This Swiss was phenomenal last season. Now he cant even pass cross deke defend .. nothing.

Nice to see Matuzalem back. Linking up the mid to forwards nicely for the short time he was on.

LaLazioSiamoNoi rating: Dias 4.5/10 Biava 4.5/10 Ledesma 5/10   ...Since when did LLSN get so generous with the ratings. At most a 2/10 for fouling their opponents instead of letting them blow by.

I don't think anyone could possibly be happy with these two signings (biava and dias). I have to admit i'm not in full agreement with reja's formation already but i'll cut him slack since he did bring us 1 victory and its only his second game.

I think lotirchio missed the whole point of the mercato, it was to improve the team with quality .. not buy more useless shit.
