Well here we are, two games in and  in the throes of a crisis. Perhaps it's a little early to get too excited. In any event, Lazio will have little time for contemplating as there will be a midweek clash on the artificial turf of Cesena.

The Romagna club has started the season with two consecutive losses despite a decent market that saw the additions of Guana, Martinez, Candreva, and most notably perhaps,  Adrian Mutu.

Lazio go in to the match with key injuries to Stefano Mauri and Stefan Radu. However, there is a slight possibility that Radu will play given the atrocious form shown by the Biancocelesti back so far this season.

I am not sure about Radu, i would rather play this game without him and see him fully recovered than seeing him get injured again, cause if he playes half injured and gets an injury he can be out for the even more than 40 days...Despite than, Reja is still my biggest concern! I remember when we played with Inter last season and lost 2-1, Reja and Di Canio had some argument about that game...than i thought maybe Di Canio overreacted, which can happen to him and thats one of the reasons i just love him, but now i see that he was right and that Reja is not good for us. I couldnt watch that game cause i was incarcerated ( and they dont have TV down there    ) but later saw the highlights and there was a typical Reja piece of shit tactic- we were 1-0 up and Inter had a red card, so Reja decided to defende. And we got fucked. Pretty fucked. I think that he would be better with some small club cause his tactics are for Atalanta, not Lazio. We are the ones who should attack, destroy and win, and we dont. It doesnt matter if he does improve, he is still going to put his stubborn tactics after all. If we lose another derby i will be extremely pissed!

My biggest concern is that the defenders have been useless tits this season. I can't see a clean sheet and if we play Cisse on the wing Klose will be isolated up top. Reja can be blamed for tactical matters but Hernanes, Ledesma and the defence have been next to useless this season - the players need to pull their finger out of their assholes and deliver a full 90 minute performance here else the good work of last year will be turned into turmoil soon enough.

Damn straight. As I said earlier, we played good first halves. That's about it.

Ideally, we will bounce back from that terrible Genoa defeat and utterly crush Cesena, Klose will get six good passes and score three, Cisse will succeed with one of his four attempts at shooting from 20 metres, and Hernanes will start weaving his spells and score one too. Maybe not.

I really do not know what to expect from this game what with the aftermath of the Genoa game and such short preparation time but I do hope the players have steeled themselves and the coach has his mind set on one thing and one thing only: victory.

PROBABLE FORMATION:

Marchetti; Konko, Diakitè, Dias, Stankevicius; Ledesma, Brocchi; Gonzalez, Hernanes, Cisse; Klose

Cesena are a dangerous team and I don't like this one bit. They will be a tough team to beat this year once they get their bearings. We must take them very seriously imo.

Would be happy with this, Stankevicius will hopefully be an improvement to the defence. Also Cisse moving back to the left sounds good, he wasn't looking comfortable on the right on Sunday.  1-2. Klose, Cisse pen.

I agree, they are not going to be an easy team to beat and have made some serious upsets in the past. They do have a pretty decent front line which could really keep our back line on their toes.

We need to take all games seriously and need to get our first win of the season. If we don't win this game, i think it's safe to say this team is not as strong as we may have thought.

3 points .. nothing less!

is this game being broadcast on TV anywhere? im sick of streams, makes these games more stressful than they already are.

3 points is pretty much necessary here.  A win should help give us a break from this crisis mode we appear to be in at the moment.  A loss will likely make things spiral out of control, not at all what we need at this point.
