Lazio now have to face AC Milan who are top of the table and most likely going to take the scudetto this season. Not only do they have a quality team but have also taken advantage of the mercato to bring in quality players depsite showing they were already a strong team.

Despite winning 2-0 on Saturday, Lazio still need to find their momentum again. Hopeuflly with the inclusion of Dias back and rested and Hernanes who seems to have been rested as well with only being played 10 minutes on Saturday we should see a slight improvement.

Zarate will be out until Chievo and will miss this match. I'm sure nobody will argue against having Libor starting even if Zarate was available. Floccari took an early exit on saturday so hopefully he's okay and if so he should also be well rested as well.

It will be a big task to beat milan at their own stadium. But a win would really give the team a boost in confidence as well as restore some faith back to the fans who have been in doubt since december when the team seemed to have lost their steam.

What formations would you guys field against milan ?

FORZA LAZIO!

Its been more than a decade since we beat Milan in the league! This is getting embaressing, we need to end this ongoing record non-winning streak we have with them!

AC milan has our card. Not only have they beat us but have humiliated us once a year with absolute beatings on our home turf. I find it strange how smaller teams have been able to somehow beat them by surprise but never us .. we've only managed to scrounge ties against them. We need to break the pattern once and for all.

Floccari will be missing this game and supposedly hernanes will start behind kozak. Since Zarate and Floccari are both out i'm guessing this will make room for Sculli who will probably be doing target practice to bounce balls off Kozaks head.

Think we've got a good chance of getting something out of this if we play well.

Amelia, Abate, Nesta, Zambrotta, Ambrosini, Boateng, Gattuso, Pirlo, Seedorf, Strasser, Inzaghi, van Bommel all out for Milan.

Well, nobody would argue that Udine is a very good team but they almost got their win on San Siro against Milan a while ago. Yesterday Palermo were visitting Inter there and it was Pazzinis miraclous debut to save the host's asses. So impossible is nothing, on paper they are the absolute favourites yes, but in my opinion with a little more character and intensity we can scrape something from this one, my only concern ins the numb Lazio which Reja tends to bring on when playing against bigger names.

                                 Muslera
                   Lich   biava    stendardo radu

                     Brocchi Matu(if fit)  Ledesma

                         hernanes    Sculli

                                 Kozak

No Mauri, more posession.

It is quite amazing indeed how we have not been able to defeat Milan in a league game in aeons. Last time around we took the bull by the horns when we were losing and managed to grab a point. That is what we need to do tomorrow right from the start.

PROBABLE FORMATION: (4-3-1-2):

MUSLERA; LICHTSTEINER, BIAVA, DIAS, RADU; BROCCHI, LEDESMA, MAURI; HERNANES; KOZAK, SCULLI.

Pretty much what I was going to suggest myself. Two strikers. Kozak is on fire and Sculli impressed on Sunday so I do not mind if Floccari sits on the bench for a change regardless of his condition. According to Reja Matuzalem will start if he is fit. Gonzalez might also be favored over Mauri. Either one or both: fine with me.

Realistically, NO team is going to go to San Siro and expect points, so a tie would be more than acceptable. With their many injuries, it may just be possible to pull something out but we will need to play at our best. This Zarate suspension may just be the best thing if Kozak has another good game - the Zaratekid will have do a little more than run around and pout when he doesn't score.

Milan's probable formation: Abbiati; Papastathopoulos, Bonera, Yepes, Antonini; Flamini, Thiago Silva, Emanuelson; Robinho; Pato, Ibrahimovic

Looking at it, the attack is fierce but the rest is not. If ever we are to grab something against them it should be now.
The formation 61514 puts out is solid in my opinion so I am all for giving it a go and actually show some balls and intent and get at least a point.

I can't say I expect us to get anything from this game, though we have saved our best football for the best sides this season against Inter, Napoli and Milan being the case in point.

We're lighweight upfront, no alternatives really to freshen things up. They're missing a lot of players too, virtually a whole potential 11 all things considered. But, a draw would be a very decent result and if we can play some nice football, like Napoli and Udinese have done so well of late, then all the better.

I don't expect a win here either. AC's had our card for 21 years .. and it will take a miracle to beat them. Pato, Robinho and Ibrahimovic .. i wish we had one of these players on our team and despite their missing of players .. their bench is probably better.

Milan is determined to win the scudetto this year and will steamroll just about anyone. Reja said he will be attacking this game. While we don't really have an effective attack i also think we don't have a defense that can hold milan's amazing strikers.

I just hope this doesn't result in the usual slaughter they give us once a year.

Their back line is as woeful as their strikers are tremendous. This will be a question of whose defense will hold firmer. If we attack without giving up too much on defense, we may be able to pull something out here.

ibramhimovic has scored every game after the winter break. We need this guy covered and what worries me is that we will need help from our mid to assist our defense and we'll barely have any chances on net trying to keep ibra's trickery under control. This game will be a definite nail biter.

I am not expecting anything from this game either. It will be a miracle if we can keep Pato and Ibrahimovic in the leash for 90 minutes. Even one point should be a good achievement. All I want from the team is that we play like we did when we were chasing Milan's lead last time.
