Well, a point is ok, but I feel like we could have the whole three if hadn't approached the game so defensively. Well, I am at work early either, got to go sleep. Btw, Chievo smashing Napoli 3-1, not an easy one upcoming.

glad for the point we could have won the game at the end, we played much better with more strikers on the pitch and created more chances.
Two strikers should start from the off it doesn't work with alone striker we couldn't get floccari into the game in the first half

another good performance from our team. The point is very good although we could have got all 3 points with a bid more luck. But the draw was a fair result at the end of the day. Gongrats to the boys an coach for the well deserved point

Er... hello? I noticed the man in your avatar, and therefore demand that you post more. I asked for 4 points from the two 'difficult' games and I got them. But whereas against Viola I was bursting with pride, probably for the first time since the Coppa Italia final, this game leaves me feeling a bit bitter.

hmmm makes me wonder what the result would have been had we supported Floccari from the beginning with a 2nd striker. Fuckin Reja still can't seem to get it right.

Fair result although, I thought we gave them way too much respect and should have attacked more!

Wasn't my choice of game plans, but at least we actually had one and virtually executed it to perfection. Btw, Flocc's goal, absolutely sublime. Watch it again, from Hernanes tiptoeing through the box to Floccari's splendid outside footed laser into the top corner. Mammamia ragazzi!
p.s. Ok, I've seen enough. Don't call us , we'll call you Pasqualino.

I sorta like the defensive approach of the game.
...that Ibra goal was just unfortunate. It shouldn't have happened.

after the game Reja says about Boeteng: "We signed him, the deal was done but then we decided on Hernanes instead. He's better tactically....."

In the two games Cavanda's played he's already convinced me that he should be a regular. He works hard and I was impressed at how he covered ronaldinho and his dribbling skills sometimes saw him through 3 milan players today.
Despite Floccari's beautiful goal, he did look like he was involved too much, but he's similar to rocchi. They aren't about possession they are about finishing and that is what they do well.
I'm going to chew some crow. But after the mercato i didn't think 1 player would make that much of a diffference. Hernanes makes a world of difference on this team. Just listen to the highlights and he's all over the place .. he tracks back .. he's in the mid .. and he's almost like having another striker as well. This was absolutely the perfect player.
Not really sure if we really need to see what Garrido's made out of. Our defense looks pretty solid without him as is .. except i'd still like to see stendardo instead of biava.
So far we've seen someone different score every game (Rocchi, Mauri, Hernanes, Ledesma, Kozak, Floccari) .. who will score for us next ?
Next game against Chievo will be tough .. Pelissier already has 4 goals to his name and beating Napoli means they aren't a pushover team. Like us, Chievo has 3 wins beating Catania, Genoa and Napoli and losing to Brescia. Another win on the weekend would definately be bliss as our rivals have to face inter .. and we know how their season is going so far .. tee hee!
The season is still early and we've started on high notes before and crashing down the table, so we need to keep composure.

When I saw the formation is was like WTF. But I must give credit to Reja for putting Cavanda instead of Lich. His only mistake was Foggia and he had to change him more earlier and he had plenty of choice among Bresciano, Zarate, Gonzales... Even though I don't want to, I must admit that Reja is tactical maestro. There were some chances that we could have used but overall I'm happy with our game and the final result. Chievo and Brescia are next Bring it on!!!!

Good point, especially showing resiliance in coming from behind. The goal from Floccari was superb, and Hernanes played another composed game in midfield. Cavanda was electric down the right and I look forward to seeing more of him. Shame Mauri could not bury that chance he had after 30 minutes but Abbiati did well with the strike.
