I really don't get the point of the direction this topic has taken. It's too bad we can't all go and sit in the CN and create a banner about how badly we're going to get beaten and where and how we're going to take it in which orifice etc.
Forza rega'
With all due respect what do you want most of us to do jump up and down like cheerleaders and fooling ourselves into thinking this team has what it takes to do anything. Being a pessimist right now is being realistic. You couldn't possibly after the last two months have anything good to say about lotito, ballardini or the squad or have faith in this team walking into games like this. We're not resigning from being fans and its not blasphemy to talk about how bad this team is or how bad they'll have it. There's different types of fans who have different types of perspectives. I think what keeps this forum going is the clashes in opinions which adds to the forum ... and if you disagree ... well thats your opinion. I get what your saying but in my perspective i'm finding humour in these dark times. FORZA LAZIO!

I'm as angry and as frustrated as anyone here, but sometimes, when you're going through hell, the important thing is to keep going, and eventully you'll get out. Hear, hear Imper! Things can only go so low, and then they have to go up again...it won't always be like this, if the right decisions are made, and the team needs to hear voices of support to give them confidence, not vitriol to dent it.
Something strange happened the other day, I got a friend request on Facebook from what appears to be a Pasquale Foggia fan page and, although I'm not sure if it's genuine, today he posted something similar to this....so, despite my reservations about it's authenticity, I joined others and voiced words of support, I even did it in Italian...(really bad Italian) :-)

i thought that was what alcohol was for. Definition: Alcohol - pronounced Al~co~hol " A beverage consisting of an organic compound in which a hydroxyl group (-OH) is bound to a carbon atom of an alkyl or substituted alkyl group. Said beverage can only merely send the user into a state of temporary mind disorder, or as commonly known as "forget the fucking shit out of it." With regard to Lazio results, alcohol cannot provide humour, as watching Lazio stumble about whilst appearing themselves intoxicated with shit tactics and lack of desire, is worst then any mind disorder a beverage could function a la mode" Boh?

Wow guys, Milan are shit. I know we are as well but I prefer Ballardini over Leonardo. Are Milan really hitting their stride? They (like us) can't score and they have been lucky recently. Against Roma (A turning point for Milan kind of) they went under and Roma should have finished the game in the first half, they didn't however and Milan got an undeserved win. Then came Chievo and Milan needed an extra time goal to win them (Chievo were 1-0 up till the 80th min), next were Napoli, Milan stunned them early on with two goals but then there was only Napoli. Last game against Parma, okay Milan won but it was Parma at the San Siro.
Although they have been getting (undeserved) results lately I really don't fear them. Their team is old and the troubles they had early on in the season are still there. This is the game we will turn it around and WIN. I'm betting my avatar picture on it.

Lotito's hell is eternal, face it he has not learned in the past on too many reaccuring issues. Cut him slack once, twice but three times your out. Lotito, Tare & Balla = the three satans.
Back to Milan, they have always suffered defensivley, today in the CL game no Gattuso who is slow, same defensive line and a very offensive lineup with 1 striker backed by Ronaldinho and Pato yet they still played well defensilvley and very dangerous on the counter with their distribution and speed. Wonder if a more offensive strategy would work using eli/zarate/foggia in the upper mid with meghni/matuzlem and brocchi at the back with rocchi as the striker, since our defence sucks anyway we couldn't withstand an attack like milan for life itself mind as well try for a shootout or at least keep the ball moving away from our half. 4-4-2 is the usual safe bet but we only have one real asset which is offensive speed so mind as well use it since everything else has been tried already. Not the tri-dent but a system to fill up the midfield with players to slow down the opposition from transitioning so quickly as well as creating a quick counter attack with 4 potential scorers.

I think milan have been gaining momentum and ronaldinho has been playing better. Pato is unstoppable and today they should have won 2-1 against Real Madrid. To say they're shit is a stretch .. to say we're shit is pretty realistic. Leonardo is a shit coach .. i agree... but ballardini is also shit. This game would require a lot of luck on our part to win and player for player they destroy us on paper. I'd like to see an upset but it's highly unlikely. I think a tie is the best result we can get. I wouldn't mind seeing Inzaghino on the field for a bit against his brothers team. When he's on the pitch he means business. I'm sure our strikers are going to be exhausted from the villa match so why not give the guy a chance.

Latius I almost always agree with you no matter what the issue is so I have I question for you(and others on the forum) In your opinion , who is/was 'shitier' as Lazio coach - Rossi or Balla? My vote has to go for Balla because IMO he is even clueless about who should be Lazios starting 11! what do you think? Here is a thought, why won't we make a poll and see the opinion we have on that question?

Theres no comparison at all at the moment between a team that took four points of Real Madrid, should have been six, in the champions league and a team, us, that can not score more than one goal a game and also cannot keep a clean sheet. Milan have turned their dire start around, and don't look anything like the team that was mauled 4-0 in the Milan derby. Defensively they are much more solid this season with Nesta back, and Thiago Silva playing well along side him. There recent wins have been tight, but they've found a way to win each time, as much as we seem to find a way to loose. Realistically, If Milan are shit, then what that makes us I really shudder to think.

That's the stupidest thing I've seen since a certain Canadian folk singer decided to go hiking through the woods wearing a plaque that said "Coyotes, please come and eat me."

Word. Honestly, how can be hard to determine the first eleven after over 10 matches? We have a coach below this team... I wont delude myshelf by think Milan is shit too, at least Milan is Milan, ok as a squad and avarage old, no chance for tittle in any competiton for them I bet but, better than us for sure. Pato Pato Pato, the guy I am afraid of mostly... After playing against Villa in Spain and then Milan seems very bad luck for fixture. I dont think our squad is professinal enough to manage 2 or 3 matches in a week. I am sorry that I have really no reason to talk more hopefully. I can just say, maybe Milan's stars wont be good, maybe Foggia and Zarate and Rocchi will play their best game so far this season... run out of words simply... just full of wishes. When seeing the rest of the matches in the first half of league, we can really face days full of darkness Damn Forza Lazio 00

Last night Milan didn't deserve to win. Sure they got a goal disallowed but the penalty decision was debatable as well. + The Real Madrid defense isn't good enough and teams will always score goals against them. As for Milan they have been struggling all season. Good run of results lately and you all think they're awesome? Come on, this is the same team that lost to Zurich, Udinese, couldn't score vs Livorno, and drew vs Atalanta and Bari. They are not in the same class as Inter, Juve, Napoli and Fiorentina and this season they will miss out on the top 4. We are doing terrible at the moment but some of you just want to see us lose. Then you can spend the week posting in the fuck Lotito thread. If you have seen Milan play they have been getting undeserved results and this season will turn out to be a disaster for them.

None of us are saying they are brilliant - but on current form, they are good, very good indeed. They have turned a corner since those crap results you have mentioned. It seems you really hate Milan, fair enough. They have players that wipe the floor with ours, that's how I see it. Furthermore, it seems to have escaped you, but we (Lazio) are in a pretty bad state right now, are any of our results more convincing then theirs? Fuck no. - Things are so bad infact, that expecting a win against an in-form Milan team is ludicrous.
