VS How quickly do we want to forget the last two games and see some sort of light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately the next game does not look like a change in the recent pattern. Milan have been on a consistent winning streak now in second place and only becoming stronger with their newboy david beckam. They even were able to bench ronaldinho a world-class player for the last 3 matches and pull off easy wins. The only thing I can think of that can give us some sort of edge is to drastically change the formation around and stick our strongest players on the field and have them adapt to new positions. What do you guys think this team needs ? What formation would you field if you were coach ?

I said he was going to change the team that lost in rome to cagliari and he did, he changed the CD and the new guys could not mark well or jump to defend..............why didnt he start Foggia? He keeps playing mauri. I am unhappy with this team and the coach.............I hope to hear a breaking news about him before the season ends. We should play Diakite again and continually, he is the future, siviglia and cribari cant do anything. I really dont have a lineup in mind.......it is all messed up now. I will just hope and pray we win.

I would go for 4-4-2, they will play pato upfront with Kaka sojust behind so the battle for midfield will be key. I think they will play Ronaldinho, so it doiesnt get any easier at all. I agree Diakhite should play, Pato has so much pace i doubt any of our other defenders would have a chance. Foggia has to start, i simply dont understand why he doesnt get more minutes on the pitch. Im not sure who should play upfront, that said Rocchi was the only one who was sharp in any way shape or form last night with a well taken start maybe he and pandev should get the nod. Maybe this is the chance to put Zarate on the wing, and give Matuzalem a go as well. Weve got nothing to loose after our last two games

Yesterday I had to watch milan-genoa match because of lack of connection. I saw that milan is not an unbeaten team but I dont trust this team. Whatever the tactic we want Lazio to play is, rossi ,again , will use his damn tactic, so I dont want to discuss about tactic, I just prey for a win. Please GOD, hear us.

Yes milan is not fantastic even with kaka and roni.....but tgis lazio team lack character and consistency and we have a coach that cannnot make the boys do something......that counts in football.it is not only what the players can offer, but can the coach bring out the best in them.....rossi cannot. Milan have character and desire. I pray we win though.....it is not impossible.

Matuzalem should play we might as well nothing else to lose.We can play deep down its weather we can find form again.

The optimist in me says we put up a good fight against Milan and tie the game.
The pessimist in me says Milan demolishes us and so does Fiorentina then Rossi is fired and we continue the rest of the season as a midling team where I would have preffered us to start rather than raise expectations at the start to the stars only to see them plummet.
I think Foggia MUST start as must Diakite. Matuzalem and Meghni as well as Pandev and Zarate. For the rest, whatever.
In any event, Forza Lazio!

Delio Rossi Disappointed With Lazio's Lack Of Concentration After another abysmal display at the back this evening at the Marassi, the Biancocelesti coach has his work cut out to save his side's faltering season. Following Lazio’s second heavy defeat in the space of three days, Delio Rossi kept a brave face when commenting on the performance against Sampdoria.
He told the press, “From an aesthetic point of view we played well, however we were not concrete enough and we must change.
The Lazio tactician felt the game tilted in favour of the home side after a moment of magic from Antonio Cassano.
“We are in a delicate moment such as is possible over the course of a season. It is in these circumstances that our true colours must come through,” Rossi said.
When asked whether his defence is suffering from a lack of support from the midfield line, he added, “It has nothing to do with the midfield. We are conceding goals on dead-ball situations and we are supposed to be man marking. It is quite clear that we need to have more concentration in these situations.”

Beckham Worries About Injury Ahead Of Lazio Match David Beckham hopes an adductor muscle injury which cut short his most impressive performance so far for Milan does not turn out to be serious. Milan hosted Genoa on Wednesday night and they were looking to gain revenge for the 2-0 defeat they suffered in their second game of the season, a result that has helped Genoa challenge for a top-four finish.
The Rossoneri were looking for three points at home, as they attempted to cut their six-point deficit with Inter, but they had to settle for a single point after a 1-1 draw.
A stunning David Beckham free-kick was cancelled out by a Diego Milito strike in the last few minutes of the game.
The England midfielder asked to be replaced in the 71st minute of the game, but he is still confident of being fit to face Lazio on Sunday.
Beckham revealed, “It's the adductor. We'll have to see how it is tomorrow. I felt it before the game and then again just before half-time. I got to 20 minutes in in the second half and I felt it a little bit more. It's painful, but hopefully I will be fit for the game at the weekend.”
By dropping two points against Genoa, Milan lost ground on league leaders and city rivals Inter Milan, whom they now trail by eight points, but Beckham insists that the Scudetto race is not over yet.
“I enjoyed the game, but I am disappointed that we did not win. With Juventus losing, the points would have been really good tonight, but it's not over yet. When I was in Manchester, we were 15 points behind but we came back and won the championship, so anything is possible. We have got to start winning games and put pressure on Inter and Juventus. There are still some very big games coming up,” said the Englishman.

I thought about that too. Maybe that is the only thing that will make lolitto sack him or make rossi resign. But i hope we win and rossi goes soonest.

I know the morale is very low now, But will the players be motivated playing milan or will they shrink further?
I was thinking the same thing. How unmotivated must they be after losing to two shit games conceding almost 8 goals (had samp scored the penalty it would have been 4-1 for both games). I would trade the next two wins to have a new coach. If we really beat milan it will be a fluke and nothing more. Just like atalanta was able to beat inter thats what this game would be if we won. Even our best formation against milan is still a b-class team compared to a team of superstars.
