You don't quite get the point I'm saying. As you may have gathered with my tête-à-tête with the likes of Imper. I cannot stand people who try and find silver linings in clouds, especially if there aren't any. To say that "At least we put some effort in" IMO let's the players of the hook, even if it's just a little. It's fine for him to whine about crap mercato like we all do, but all I wanted to hear from him is that "we didn't play well" and not a lot else. That would be great. Instead, he has to niggle at me and imply that the game wasen't all bad because at least we put an effort in. I don't expect you to understand my feelings but all season long whenever we have lost Grande tosser has been like this.

I missed the entire game today except for the first 20 minutes only to see Lazio down in 9 minutes to one of the bottom teams in Serie A. I don't think i needed to watch the entire game to learn anything knew. Our team is shit, lotito is running the team exactly like the roma fan he is and ballardini still has a job despite producing shit results but at the same time who can blame him with the Serie C team he's coaching.

Sadly our rivals on the other hand still showing they have surpassed us in quality and Toni has scored more goals in 1 game than Zarate has all season.

Ok, Theo, you did not get my point either. I can see your point, though. Very well. I have been seething in rage at him for some of the post-game turds he has been excreting this season. In this specific case I just happen to think it was so laconic a statement that he could just as well have said "yeah, we played a game so what". No silver linings, no excuses. Now you see what I mean too?

Exactly. We just lost 3-0 to a team that had, before today, registered 1 victory at home all season. Now Ballardini says that after 15 minutes we were better, we put some effort in. What he omits is that after 15 minutes Atalanta were 2-0 up, crusing, and able to relax. Arguably, it could have been 4, or even 5 by half time. Shameful, and we barely threatend their goal in the whole game.

Nonetheless, maybe this is the defeat that sparks instant mercato action. I have severe doubts.

No problem at all mate

And we made Doni look like Doni of old. Sorry but he has also pretty much done bugger all season except for this one game. All I really saw from them was more desire than us, belief and confidence. It's strange how Ballardini has done this time and time again - the players look disinterested, disjointed with no passion or desire on the field at the start of games. How on earth does he deal with them in the dressing room before kick off. I've lost count of how many first halves we have sucked at this season. Wouldn't surprise me if it's nearly every one

Wonderful result.  Lose 3-0.  Now, can we fire the coach?

Maybe when we land in Serie B that might be the hint lotito needs to make drastic improvements to the team. Ballardini definately doesn't have the resources to prove he's a good or bad coach .. although i'm leaning more towards him being a bad coach and a cheap one probably .. i do give him props for saying the team needs 4 or 5 reinforcements and if he gets them (hopefully) and this patter continues .. fire his ass.

This team is Serie B material whether anyone wants to accept it or not. We didn't lose 1-0 today to a shit team but got our asses handed to us. I think at this point the only teams we can argue we MIGHT be better than .. is catania or siena .. every other team is better than us and has proven it whether against us or by beating top level teams.

I can't even express my frustrations without sounds like a broken record. I just hope lotito that romanista can make some record breaking mercato moves to salvage this pathetic team.
