I think we're all speachless at this point. I think the words 'we need to win this one' or any thoughts of Lazio being a strong team have flown out the window. In 27 matches so far Lazio have only managed to win 5 .. the same amount of wins as the two teams in relegation zone. I think expecting anything great from this team is absolutely ludicrous. 11 games are now left in the season to determine the fate of whether lazio will survive one of the worst seasons its seen in ages. Lazio need to snatch wins and nothing less.

Coming up this weekend Lazio face off against Bari, a team not to be underestimated .. since they of course higher on the table and have had some great matches this season. Good news for us is this game is at home .. bad news .. we're without rocchi and zarate. Reja will have to depend on Cruz who's barely appeared most of the season and rarely impressed and Floccari who in a short time has proven more useful than all our strikers.

Thankfully one defense we see the return of Lichsteiner who hopefully sticks to his original right back position.

I have a feeling that we'll see players like Mauri starting who's looked like he couldn't score using a beachball on an open net.

This is another game Edy Reja will be watching from the stands as he's recieved his second ban in 4 games. Who can blame his frustration when your the coach of a team that's become hopeless.

Without expectations anymore .. all we can do is pray .. FORZA LAZIO!

Reja will be on the bench, he was sanctioned but will not be banned.

We absolutely have to win this game. I actually had a nightmare we went down the other night. If we don't win this and the next upcoming home game against Siena we will be in real trouble, because other than these two I don't see where three points will come from in the not so distant future.

I have kind of good feeling about Bari match this weekend, maybe there is chance after breaks for goals (like Siviglia goal against Fiorentina)...

bad news .. we're without rocchi and zarate.

as a big pasquale foggia fan i have been counting down the days until his projected return date is due. As of mid February he was supposed to miss 20 days and by Sunday it has been overdue. He should be evaluated and a news report should come out sooner or later about Foggia's fitness about this match. We can really.. really.. use Foggia this match.

We can also really really use barreto. If anyone scores for us this game its going to be someone who never scores.  I can see another fluke goal like siviglia's.  I don't see us scoring a legit goal with with all these players out.

Bad news then, he has been training separately from the squad now but the most optimistic prognosis is that he is fully fit for the Cagliari game in two weeks.

Must win. Bari are in result crisis and are shit away. I'm almost 110% sure that we will win this one. Lazio fans has called for support and around 50000 are expected to fill Olimpico. CN came on Idea to call Zarate to join them but knowing how girlish he is he'll probably watch from Monte Mario or something.

If somehow we lose this one?!?!?! Then I don't give a fuck, go to serie B and clean the infection. This team needs to be reborn one way or another.

This was exactly my sentiment in an earlier post elsewhere earlier. Look we shall have to see what the response is by the team. A loss here and we are clearly at the mercy of other teams. If we go down, so be it, I won't be happy but I'll still be a Laziale.

In any event, I agree that we probably see a better result (given that our performances have been somewhat better). Speriamo.

In the last 5 games they have 4 loses and 1 win (with Chievo at home last weekend). Believe me they are in crisis.

Yes, but they won their last game. So that means crisis over. Technically. Although I see your point. They are in very bad form, that's the bottom line. A win at home to Chievo isn't to be sniffed at, especially considering we didn't do it.

Besides my re-working of Jo-Bro's post, I thought I should add something else.

I read today that Reja said the team blah blah blah not enough confidence, mentality problems, too defensive, etc etc etc.

Our mister is pissing me off. Didn't he say he would come in and work on such things? Besides, isn't it down to the manager to train the team at a high intensity etc and improve their mindset? Of course it's up to the players to execute, but clearly he is not doing as well as Rossi in that regard, look at Palermo now, Rossi has got it into their heads they can go to Juventus and win, and did, and that they can qualify for CL, or at least for Europe, and they probably will.
Reja is lacking.

We will probably play a 3-4-1-2 against Bari.
Can someone tell me, why we can't just play with a classic 4-4-2?
With this formation we wouldn't make anything wrong.

We're in a relegation battle and try every game an other system? This sucks -.-

My formation against Bari:

Muslera

Lichtsteiner Stendardo Radu Kolarov

Brocchi Matuzalem Ledesma Hitzlsperger

Rocchi Floccari

I think we are all speachless that 4-4-2 has not been adopted, and ultimately consistency in set up achieved. Ledesma and Matuzalem are back in the middle and could probably do a half decent job there. Even with this formation Matuzalem could be given licence to link up with Floccari/Rocchi at times to bridge the gap and if Brocchi is on one of the wings then he can cover at these moments. I don't know, I don't think we will see it happen at all this season.

As for Bari, they have done as well as they could have this season so far and I think its been a fantastic campaign for them. Still, they blow on the road and will must take full advantage of this. Which means, hit them hard right from the first whistle and don't stop until the final whistle. We can't shut up shop after we score our usual token one goal. Every time it ends with us not winning, surely Reja must recognise this. Surely.

Forza Lazio. But Reja is a moron. He knows 3 at the back doesn't work, that's why we dropped it. But we're trying it again?

The man hasen't got a p*****g clue!
