This weekend Lazio will be facing Bologna and is yet another Sunday afternoon game (or evening game depending on where you live) which will be televised.

Bologna snatched their first 3 points last week against Novarra while the rest of the teams that same Sunday morning drew 0-0 ties in a strange coincidence.

Considering our spirits are high from the derby and bologna has been having an awful season sitting at the bottom with only 4 points i'd say we have the upper hand in this game despite it being an away game.

Reja can probably even give some of the players a rest during this match. I say rocchi and Kozak are given a go at this match.

huge game for us. Bologna won just one game since last March - from last season, so We have a big opportunity to make this game easier. Of course Cisse and Klose must start, I want to see Matuzalém instead of González, who is injured anyway, and Mauri for Ledesma (I love Cristian but he's not doing well lately). I hope our Defense will do well against di vaio. very good striker.

The league can be won this season! Some of the top teams are struggling more then previously and things have evened out a bit more I feel. This bologna game is very important to the objective, the games where we need to and should bank the three points! Don't slip up a very winnable game boys and don't be complacent.  2 wins out of every 3 will win the league i think, so around 70- 75 points. Lots of the better sides are being held up in games that they probably should be winning.  Very good competition out there.

Being realistic I highly doubt we can win the league. Winning the derby was fantastic but we can't get carried away. However Bologna should be beaten and a big no no on resting players. Last season we rested players vs Cesena and ended up losing. Rather rest someone vs Zurich.
Lecce managed to win in Bologna so anything other then 3 points will be disappointing.

I think this is a game that Cisse should sit out. Cisse has been a bit aggravating and not to mention aggravating others on the field. Lets put in Rocchi since he has done great thigns at the end of the season last term and a good preseason. Cisse should just sit this one out and observe and build the desire in him to play for next match. On the other hand, if Klose did play through injury to make it out for the derby then he should take this match off and out Kozak instead of Klose. Rocchi and Kozak are both deserving at this point so I would like to see one or the other make a start for this match. Our midfield and defense should not be rested. 3 points. They say a derby result can affect the next 3 games so hopefully after such a performance, we are not let down to a relegation team.

Well Bologna may be good but after that derby win whole Lazio is different, still we shouldnt underrate Bologna but go there and grap the 3 points.
Btw our 4 next matches aren't that tough, Bologna away, Catania  home, Cagliari away and Parma home. If we beat all these teams and make a good streak I would really be OPTIMiSTic of take the scudetto this season. Anyway, Lets start with Bologna.

Don't even mention the S word. We need to aim for top six and then see where we are in January. Not to mention, I'd like to go deep into the EL.

Anyway, if we've learned anything this year thusfar, it's that this is a fairly tight leeague. We need to take everyone seriously and show up to every match prepared to face stiff competition.

Have to agree with Laziogimp that it is always good to beat the merda but at the mo the scudetto is out of our reach and its only the 6th game of the season. I would rather rest certain players like klose, brocchi etc  for the zurich match instead of bologna which 3 points is a must and with the teams we have in the next couple of weeks we need to get good results in all of the matchs

You've worked hard all season long to get into Europe and now you want to rest your key players against zurich, which is very important game after we sucked badly in our group. not very smart in my opinion..

Ok rested may have been the wrong word to use but give other players in the team a chance to start the game and then depending on how the game is going bring on subs as needed. Lulic should start and maybe matuzalem as well or even cana instead of brocchi

I also totally agree and cant stand somebody even thinking about the word Scudetto NOW! What the hell are you smoking..  .. Days before after Genoa everybody wanted to slaughter Reja and now? Keep calm, guys.. Season is soooo long and it will not get easier.. even if we are at second by halftime, or first at the last ten games... Cant imagine, that they go in the final days without shaky knees.. Me either!
And, if we are still in EL, then I think, we can forget things like that! Not enough good depth and Merda and Juve havent that busy game plan then and wont be tired as we can become..
Lets do it Lazio like: Step by step, game by game...AND fuck everybody who comes along!  Thats always teh best way and after the last whistle, we can celebrate, what we reached! Without any noble ambitions! Game after game, trying to beat everybody! Not thinking of silverware yet!
Thats what I hated most from our HERTHA BSC from Berlin the most! Years ago, these suckers declared themselves as title challengers from year to year and didnt get anythin!
Cant imagine something more stupid, childish and gay!
Bologna is OUR victim! Forza Lazio

Talk of the Scudetto is ridiculous at this stage in all honesty. This game is winnable but Bologna have more quality than their league position suggests and won't be easy to roll over, not to mention we got smashed their last season as well.

I don't agree with all this resting players business, we've just had a two week international break and most of our squad won't have played games during this time. Rest Klose, ok but no one else. Zurich is without question a must win and I agree with Laziale 7 that you don't just work all season long to qualify for Europe and then piss it down the drain. We have to show we can handle three games a week, if we can't now then we'd never be effective if we make it to the Champions League anyway.

If Di Vaio is to be stopped, no way we beat them 3:1 properly! It all depends on whether we play one of our poor games and dont use our god damn lots of chances!
For me it is not just resting some players but more to give some a go ahead who have the quality and potential and need that playing time! !!
Like Rochhi for Klose, Brocchi for Cana and even and especially Ledesma for Matu (Matu earned that and Ledesma seems to need a rest, because of some poor displays either)..
And a Diakite in Central defense cant be a "threat" to a win in Zurich when he is our first choice backup for CB! Thats why he need that more than any other! Or we should put Radu in CB again and give Lulic the left back a go!
And Zurich is no Palermo! And if the game goes our way, not thinking twice about putting "risky" players like Cavanda and Kozak in, who need playing time for sure! Otherwise we should get rid of them as soon as possible (loan) if we dont use them in such matches anyway!
