If Marchetti continues like this, he'll get his call up from Prandelli. This is the first time in a long while that we've handled a game simply and cleanly. Great composure throughout even if the finishing could have been better at times.

I was wrong about him and today he put my own foot in my mouth. He's shown that he's a quality player with the tremendous saves he's done today.

next on the hit list is catania .. i think we can potentially see this team claiming the top spot as we've seen before . We've seen Lazio at in scudetto position before only to be let down in the end of the season. Hopefully this year things will be different .

Thanks for posting the highlights Laziale-7

Decent victory against a side that seemed to melt away after the second one went in. Catania and Cagliari up next and they will represent a tougher test.

Although Ive always believed in Marchetti, after seeing the games so far I also have to confess I was wrong about Konko. A quality defender who is really calm and cool with the ball and defensively has been adequate. I am happy with this team so far, though I do wish we were more dangerous in the last third of the field.

Great win tonight and hopefully we have a strong team available for Catania on wednesday. These injuries are worrying.

marchetti was outstanding last night,so was lulic, and biava and dias look back to their old selves, klose worked his german butt off, cisse was much better in the 2nd half, all in all a proffesional performance from us,2nd top is awesome
matuz was amazing too,my fav lazio player by a country mile.
hope matuz and hernanes will be ok to play on wed.catania will be tough so too will sundays game, but 6 points could see us top of seria a,
champions league spot looks far more likely than last season,or can we really win seria a ???????????????????????????????/

^^ Cisse has passed quite a bit for a striker. That ball to Lulic was terrific and lulic showed calm finishing that is what you'd expect from a veteran striker like Klose, not a defender. What a jewel he's turning out to be.

Although he hasn't been scoring, I'm impressed by the way Cisse hussles on the field and fights for balls.

Decent assist for Lulic's goal and a decent second half by Cisse I thought. He's a confidence player and he needs a goal soon.
