This weekend Lazio will hopefully come out on top away against Cagliari who have drawn their last 3 games this season.

Lazio   - Goals For - 12 - Goals Against 8
Cagliari - Goals For - 9 - Goals Against 6

Even Mazzari admitted that Cagliari are a quality side who managed to tie Napoli at San Paolo.

Hopefully Biava is ok because all this team needs right now is to have another setback on our already suffering defense without Dias. If this team is to keep contending for the top spot we  can't have this long injury list.

Forza Lazio!

Hope Biava is back, drop Cisse hes a waste of space.
Bounce back from a disappointing result yesterday (I feel 2 points dropped more than 1 gained) and lets get an important away win.

With Hernanes back sooner than expected, we should have some creativity and im pretty confident we can get a win. It wont be pretty, but its the points that count.

OK so now we are all trashing Cisse great!

I think the Problem with cisse is Reja.. he has obviously told him to look for the open man instead of go for goal because if you watched the catania game there was a few opportunities where he got the ball right outside the box or came in from the side and instead of kicking the shit out of it and going for one of those beautiful strikes from the distance only he is capable of what does he do.. He gives a shitty pass!!

Cisse is a wild beast and to have him at his best you need to let him run free not put him in some scheme, and replacing him for rocci would be stupid, that guy does not have the body anymore to play 90 minutes and i saw it when he played the whole Valsuji game.

I hope everyone that is shit talking cisse will end up eating their words!!

Plus did you forget the great pass to lulic  against bologna.. cisse should defintley work on his crosses if he will play the sides so much though and the fans should show some support, that might help as well

In all fairness ive been trashing Cisse since he arrived! lol

Im glad Reja has told him to stop shooting and look for the pass, I cant count the amount of times in the first few games I got frustrated that he would shoot (usually poorly) at every opportunity.

Maybe he will work on the wing if he can work on his crossing etc, but we will see.

The problem with Cisse is also with Reja of course, playing him out of position as he is a natural striker with lots of pace and great first touch goal ability..
But what options does Reja have with his system? If Klose is central, everyone else has to serve on the wings..
And I admit, Cisse has often shown a poor sense for decision making! Thats when you play out of position without a head for it.. And his need and yearning for gooals is beginning to interrupt his free head to play.. One for sure, if he finds his form, he is a beast! But he hasnt because of all these unfortunate influence ...
Dont know if benching him, is the right decision.. to make the situation better...

Cagliari we be as difficult as Catania if we wont use our cchances! Thats the way.. Hope for them to hit the net more than once, so that it will end in an easy win.. not a fucking draw.. FOrza Lazio

I think we're going overboard here and reading a little too much into this. Cisse is upset that he hasn't been scoring - it's natural that when a scorer doesn't score his whole world goes to pieces, it's his raison d'etre. It's not like he hasn't had chances, it's just not going in at the moment - that'll change. In the meantime, he's also provided some tantalizing assists.

Anyway, we need to grab three points here and continue this momentum in the league. Cagliari will be without Conti and Astori. No excuses. Dias is back and so should Hernanes and Biava.

I haven't given up on Cisse just yet . .he's still a work horse on the field for me, but i do believe that il capitano deserves a shot at least and give him at least a half a game.

It didn't help for Cisse that Hernanes was absent for most of the game against Catania, nor does it help that Mauri is out. Still, his decision making is poor at times and his shooting has been awful. The latter is a sign of a lack of confidence I would think. He needs a goal, but we need to win and I think Rocchi should start alongside Klose to start with at least in this one.

This will be a hard game.

LLSN has Stankevicius as the probable starting right back. The only silver lining I can find is that it's probable and not official. After last week, Cavanda and Scaloni rate higher than him, and by the slimest margin he's just above Zauri. I still say Cisse should start, but either Rocchi or Kozak should start in the midweek Europa fixture.

Probable Lineup:

Marchetti; Konko, Dias, Diakitè, Radu; Ledesma, Brocchi, Lulic ,Hernanes; Cisse, Klose.

no Biava, shit.
personally I want Lulic for Radu at LB, Cana in midfield and Kozak for Cisse, who I think can be much more useful When he comes off the bench in 60-70 min of the game. Give Kozak some chance!

Id like Biava but hes not even in the squad so assume is injured, Reja wouldnt leave him out for nothing.

Only thing I dont like about that line up is Cisse, id play Rocchi, and Kozak at some point.
Oh, and Cana needs to stay as far from the pitch as possible!

In my opinion it is one of the best lineups we have! Lulic is needed in the offense, so thats okay to support Cisse and Klose! Today even Cisse will perform! With that lineup I have much confidence, if Ledesma and Hernanes are truly fit!

Forzaaa!

OFFICIAL FORMATION (4-3-1-2):

83 Marchetti; 29 Konko, 21 Diakitè, 3 Dias, 26 Radu; 32 Brocchi, 24 Ledesma, 19 Lulic; 8 Hernanes; 99 Cisse, 25 Klose.

Konko had problems with his back and it was not sure even today in the afternoon if he should play. Hopefully there is no risk of him missing a few more games. We will see soon enough. I too would have preferred if Cisse had been benched but that was wishful thinking.
