Not really much to say about the game coming up against Cagliari who too seasons ago would've been considered a walk in the park but today trump us on the table with 13 points. If we don't win this game surely relegation will depend on how the 3 teams below us perform as someone on the forum already stated as this team is incapable of snatching 3 points whoever they play.

The players will be put under strict training this week as they are alreay in Norcia. Aside from preparing these players for this match Reja will have to come up with a new strategy. I don't condemn him as a coach even if we lost the rest of the games because we simply don't have the resources on the field.

This season is clearly hell for Lazio.

This season is clearly hell for Lazio.
This is everything need to be said.
At least this time I want be disappointed cause I have absolutely no expectations about the match. I would just be happy to see Reja trying to change things. To expect a win from this team is simply not realistic anymore since we can't beat Bari, who is on a shit form, at home. The things are getting pretty frustrating for us. I don't see the hope anymore.
Anyways: non mollare mai! Forza Lazio!

This team hits new low every week and a difficult match vs Cagliari away is not something we need right now. However they were thrashed this week by Genoa who could have scored more so defensively they could be fragile. A result here would be great knowing that the players really need the confidence for the Siena game two weeks from now which should be the easiest game of the season. Failing to win that one and we are well and truly buried.

Cagliari can score against any side, no problem. Not many teams come away with points from the Marassi so their defeat at Genoa was no suprise for me. The fact is they have better players than we do across the park and are fully motivated under Allegri to play for the team. Confidence will be high for them despite their defeat. As for us we are a shambles. This is the worst Lazio side ive ever seen full of guttless, spineless unmotivated, overpaid players. Frankly at this point I don't even see us beating Siena. There's obviously plenty of character in their side if they can come from 3-0 down in Turin, irregardless of the form Juve are in. Still, Forza Lazio. Make us believe again.

You have alot of faith my friend.  But we will not get maximum points in cagliari. The max we will get is 1 and that is if we tie 0-0.  I dont see us scoring in cagliari and if we do it will be a fluke goal like siviglias or a penalty shot, in which case cagliari will come down right after and score on our piece of shit defence.  Screw faith, im all out of that.  We will beat siena at home tho.

That is the most optimistic prediction I have seen the whole season. 6 points here we come.

Sadly every week has become a case of wishing for the teams below us to drop points. Our heads are still just above water but all the teams below us are showing fight, scoring goals, in other words playing desperate and fighting to stay up. Livorno play Atalanta this weekend, so someone, or perhaps both, will pick up points. We've only won three games since week three, we need at least three more wins and three draws to stay up I feel. Beginning to feel impossible considering the way we are playing.

So the team has gone to retreat to Norcia for the remainder of the week to prepare for the clash against Cagliari. According to Rocchi not all members of the squad are in favor of this. I suppose Mauri would rather go shopping instead.

Radu being suspended is a bit of a blow but what disturbs me the most is that while Foggia is still recovering, Matuzalem's season finished, Firmani suspended, assuming Reja sticks to 3-5-2... fear the return of Roberto "I seize any opportunity I get" Baronio.

Does anyone really think that going into Ritiro is gonna help?

i mean we've gone in twice already this season, i believe and both times it didnt really do us well?
but then again both times it was under he who isnt even worth naming .....

i reckon the team needs to play more as a team, instead of a bunch of fools all wearing the same colors....

I think we will only know if the ritiro helps after the game on sunday, it depends upon what Reja and the squad does during this time that will influence whether it has positive or negative effects. Currently we are at rock bottom and in terms of form are arguably the worse side in the division. Something needed to be done, whether it is a ritiro or not probably can only be judged in time. The last two didnt exactly make much of a difference however so I remain skeptical.
