Zarate and Radu are suspended and as we know Foggia and Mauzalem are injured. F to the U to the C to the K.......FUCK!!! On the bright note Lich is back so I'm guessing no Biava or Diakite. But the formation will be pretty much the same like the one against Bari. So its only up to the players and their stupid little minds. As I was reading I notice that few players bother finding new club instead of saving La LAZIO. (raising his middle finger)

Something needed to be done, whether it is a ritiro or not probably can only be judged in time. The last two didnt exactly make much of a difference however so I remain skeptical.
Me too. The fact that Il Capitano says something along the lines of "we are well and truly buried" and that not all in the squad are in favor of ritiro only tells me they should take the rest of the season off and, depending on the player, start looking for new teams or preparing for Serie B. We will see on Sunday.

I have been disappointed with Rocchi both on and off the pitch. Yes it does seem he cares about the club, unlike most of them, and it would be unfair to compare every Lazio player to Paolo Di Canio in terms of passion.... BUT....
If Rocchi is so dead against it, why not ensure that it doesn't happen? He is the captain and I'm sure that if he truly put his foot down, everyone would listen to him, including pig-head, albino and all the players. Maybe he has done such a thing? Who knows. But the dead and buried comment is strange, and a little disconcerting. I think ritiro's are cowardly and bullshit, the players may as well march into the offices of Lega Calcio with white flags and say, 'just relegate us.'
Zarate says blah blah blah. Reja says yadda yadda yadda. It just bores me to the bone, I'm not a bit interested. I actually would support a press silence so everyone can shut their shit and just focus on being a team good enough to come 17th in the division.

I can't believe Rocchi said something along the lines of being dead and buried. Strange, especially as we have ten games to go and are not in the relegation zone yet. Survival, mathematcially at least, is still very much possible. If its true then it seems this team has already lost the relegation battle in their minds which is absolutely disgraceful as they have the honour of wearing our colours week in week out. In reality I think players like Ledesma and Kolarov are already dreaming about their summer moves, rather than focusing on the job in hand.

Match away against Cagliari..Difficult one against a team which is 13 points above us,has in all her 14 home matches 7 wins, 4 draws and 3 lost games and had scored 30 goals...Unlike us they win in their home..Looking in our away standings on the other hand we have only 6 draws and 2 wins..The win in this game will be vital for us...But with the suspended players, the injured ones and with thoughts to bring Roberto ''I can play till I am 40 years old'' Baronio or Stefano ''I can't score a goal even if the keeper is a girl'' Mauri in the starting line up......draw is the most possible one result to be honest..But because Lazio is capable of doing the impossible ( hope for the good one and not the bad one like the lost from Bari) ..... let's wait for the match....

My thoughts exactly of him recently. Cannot help it. Except for the apt "we should all be ashamed" comment after the Bari game... But.... I can't believe Rocchi said something along the lines of being dead and buried.
A little misunderstanding I should correct, Rocchi's comment was related to the ritiro not the league and he did not literally even use the words "dead and buried".

Rocchi has been loyal to the club but not exactly a leader that can be the spokeman of the team, the fact that he had never created any issues of leaving/contract issues showed he has loyalty to Lazio, he could have tried a few years ago to bolt when he was in top form but signed for 5 years. A better captain anyday than baronio or ledesma, form is fading but so is the whole team.
As for Cagliari, they lost but they got 3 goals, that in itself is mountain to face up to. Agree with Latius Reja can;t do too much the players have to perform end of story. Most importantly they need to score goals.

“This way we ultimately dig our own grave…” Rocchi concluded. Well, isn't it true? With this loss they are literally doing so. The loss to Bari at home is the latest of a series of shameful results. It's true his form isn't very good. But whose form is better? I am sick of listening comments like "Lazio is too good to be relegated", "Lazio can't be relegated" and so on and so on. Because we see with performances like the last one we are very very close to Seria B. And Tommaso is saying it: if they continue to play like sissies next year we will play Mantova and Triestina. I don't think he is waving the white flag like someone said before me. And I am sure he will give his heart and soul on the pitch for LAZIO, especially in this situation.

by saying we are digging our own grave he is infact putting the blame and responsibility on the players. He is right though too many times this year we have faced weak/good teams on bad form, poor away records like Bari and achieved nothing from them points vanished into thin air, those are the must wins. When we face Milan or Inter in top form all you can hope for is a good performance but other games you can't just say we tried

Well, aren't the players the most guilty in this situation???? Most of the players doesn't show passion. Fuck that. Tommaso is fully right. And btw he is saying " WE are digging our graves". Don't u feel the pain and the anger in his words from the situation in Lazio right now. This shows he cares unlike some other players who only think to which team to go after the season ends, doesn't matter to them if Lazio is in Seria A or not.

@ Bluerulezzz
I was agreeing with you, Rocchi is right and rightfully acknowledging responsibility of this situation to himself and teammates for this crisis.
In regards to we don't need reinforcements, he is not the greatest spokesperson and speaking out against Lotito may not be a good career decision. He should have kept his mouth shut that time. Its not his decison to get reinforcements anyway that't Tare & Lotitos job. For him to say we need reinforcments is too tell his teammates they are too shitty to pass properly which is probably what he has been thinking all season.

Don't use so complicated italian words: i have to use google translate He said Lazio don't need reinforcements, so? Is he guilty of not buying players? That is bullshit. As //Lazio said it's not his job to get players. I admit it wasn't the wisest thing to said but maybe he was trying to bring in some confidence to the team or something. Anyway it doesn't matter as it is not Rocchi's guilt for not brining good players.

He denies he said that, but it matters little whether he did or didn't. He isn't Di Canio. If he didn't say it, it was because he didn't want to be forced out of the club, or marginalized by Lotito, because he loves the club too much for that. If he did say it, I'm guessing it was owing to fan pressure. For the most part Capitano strikes me as a man who wouldn't say boo to a ghost. Though he does do an awful lot of whining at referee's recently I seen. I must say that it's clear we haven't got a leader on the pitch - the camera focussed on Rocchi when Bari got their 2nd, and he just stood isolated on the middle of the pitch, by himself, shook his head, hands on hips. It would have been swell to at least see him gesticulate to the rest of the squad "Fuck that, cmon, let's just go for it" and all that kind of encouragement. I didn't, and tbh never have. (Yet again I am being unfair comparing people to PDC... because PDC was a special captain and had a special love for Lazio.... but I can't help it)
