Thimgs are not going well on the field and off the field.....this result is a rude shock, an embarassment.
I really hope this coach goes, if not immediately, at the end of the season. Most of our defeats are his fault.
I am really pissed.

Lotito accepts ‘spineless’ loss
Monday 26 January, 2009
Lazio President Claudio Lotito believes there is no excuse for yesterday’s disastrous 4-1 defeat at home to Cagliari.

The Biancocelesti took the lead after three minutes through Tommaso Rocchi only to concede four goals before the interval.

Lazio had chances to get back in the game, most notably when they were awarded two penalties. However, Rocchi and Mauro Zarate missed them.

“There are no excuses,” raged Lotito. “We were spineless. It was an absurd performance. Everything was absurd.

“We started well. Then we completely lost it. Evaluations of a technical nature will be made in due course. Cagliari deserved their victory.

“We were too secure of the victory after the goal of Rocchi and we totally deserved to lose. In the second half, it went a little better, but today was decidedly not our game.

“We cannot miss two penalties and four chances in front of goal. We were too calm and convinced that it would be all too easy.”

While Lotito did admit that he would seek an explanation from Coach Delio Rossi, he was also keen to stress that his Coach was safe from the chop.

“It’s useless to blame it all on Rossi,” he added. “The points that we have in the table are a sign that the Coach has done good.

“He is not the one who misses penalties and it’s not he who concedes the goals. It was the Cagliari goalkeeper who made the difference.

“If we want to be a great team we cannot make such [bad] impressions. It’s obvious that I am not happy at this moment, but it’s important we don’t throw everything away.

“We need to have strength and humility in our approach to the game. Otherwise we risk making these [bad] impressions.”

Lazio fell to ninth as a result of their heavy defeat and host a resurgent Milan on Wednesday who yesterday beat Bologna 4-1.

1. Thats more then true, the Macedonian commentator at one stage started laughing and said that the missed penalties and chances borders with Si-Fi.

2. It's not useless to blame Rossi, if we had beat games like Bologna, Cagliari ......etc  those points will raise and we would be in top 5 not 9th.

Im not agree when we blame Rossi, we lose because our players play like shit.Zarate, hes thinking he was a star, but after 8 goals scored( 2 goals from penalty) he do nothing for this team, miss and miss every chances team mates gave him. Lose 1-4 Inter i can understand, lose Cagliari 1-4 at home i cant accept it. What did Lotito thinking while watched this game? im so sick with him? a promise about " 3 big deals" in winter transfer just is a bullshit. Lotito just is a bullshit.F**k him!
