Davide Ballardini has refused to resign and criticised the club for failing to make the purchases he asked for.

Lazio's 1-0 home defeat to Catania sent them plummeting into the bottom three and the very real threat of relegation.

“We should not have lost this game, nor did we deserve to, as we dominated the first half,” said the Coach. “After the break we were not sharp enough and conceded on the counter-attack.”

Catania horrible team, especially on the road, didn't even have their inspirational coach on the bench and showed that with a poor performance.  
Its Beyond the players, you know what look at catania martinez 7 goals, siena's maccarone, atalanta, bologna all have strikers with double our top strikers goal count of 3, these teams have shit midfielders but manage to support strikers that score more than us.  And further more they win 1-0 but still we can't score so we were headed for a draw anyway still no good.    

Other results today atalanta and udinese were also not good for us either.
