Our next four games will be in rome at the olympico...............Catania, siena, roma and genoa.
I hope we stay strong and pick up maximum points (12 points.)
Starting with catania this weekend, let us prove our worth.
Catania has a fine coach and they held juve in turin.

We should beat all of these teams as we are stronger in every way than all of them.

Are Catania not higher than us in Serie A?
It makes me sick saying that after how we started the season.

Lazio Siviglia e Ledesma fermi, in gruppo Cribari

I don't speak Italian but I think that this article says that Ledesma&Siviglia are injured and that they are not going to be prepaired 4 Sunday's clash against Catania! I think that this is in fact a good thing(not so sure about Ledesma-he can be  good as a sub) .I saw the pre-season match agains the Saudi team (Al Sadd I think) and Diakite made a good impression with his game!In my opinion he definitely deserve  a shot 4 first 11 start of Lazio matches!

A blessing in disguise.

We can definately see a new shuffle for this game as we'll be without:

Ledesma
Mauri
Foggia
Siviglia

Meghni and Criba look like they are good to go. I would be nice to see Matu in ledesma's position. We really have a depleted midfield.

My lineup for the mid would be:

Lich -- Brocchi(Dabo) -- Meghni -- Kolarov

Mauri and Foggia are avaliable 4 Sunday's match coz they were baned for only 1 match(the primary ban was changed!!!)so I will but Pasquale on Mourad's position in your mid-formation but I think that Delio(more likely) is going 2 use Mauri in that position coz he iis in love with him!  Let's all pray that Mauri is going to have good performance against Catania!

I had no idea their ban was changed. It's good we have foggia. I think now that Rocchi's back he'll go back to the mid. For sure Mauri will be included .. that guy like siviglia and ledesma can have the worst game and still be guaranteed 90 minutes.

I think this won't be an easy game for us. Catania is tied with us with 16 points in the standings but theres two ways of looking at both teams.

Lazio scored 17 goals in the last 8 games while Catania scored 9.

Catania only conceded 7 goals while Lazio conceded 12.

I also think Catania has played harder teams than us to get to where they are including beating genoa, palermo, and atalanta and managing to tie Juventus.

Lazio has played mostly teams in the bottom 10, the only two teams we've played in good standings are milan,  fiorentina and napoli the rest (sampdoria, chievo, bologna, torino and cagliari) are teams fighting relegation and have no reputation. We still have a lot of convincing to do.

A trident is needed for this game since catania seems to be a more defensive team. We need the Za. Pa. Ro. combination for this game and try and break down their defense.

I don't mean to be a pessimist but I think the excitement of dreaming of winning the scudetto should be faced with reality that this team has a lot to prove and still needs a lot of work.

FORZA LAZIO!

^^^ I have to agree AE, the idea of taking games for granted should have gone out the window with Lecce. There are no easy games this year, Bologna has its two wins against Milan and Lazio while Samp only recorded its first win this week. Catania is a well coached team and, as you've shown,  have proven that their success is not a fluke. Nevertheless, I think Lazio can beat everyone and anyone IF they can find a comfotrtable zone....yah it's a BIG if I know.

Is it sure or official that Sivilla and Ledesma are injured. Such a good news, I'm sure we will get on winning traks again since we get rid of Ledesma.    Forza Lazio Catania must FALL

I want to see the Lazio show up that beat fiorentina 3-0, when Prandelli said it was his worst defeat not any of the other layed back games we've mostly seen. It will be interesting to see what formation Rossi chooses for the mid and defense. Something tells me he might move rozehnal and cribari to the mid .. although I think he should leave out cribari completely and put diakite in for siviglia. That kid hasn't played bad from what we've seen and he look hungry to get a starting spot.

Catania will still be on a high from their good start but if we attack and get at them their confidence will hopefully crumble. We have four games coming up that are very important for the season as a whole so the chievo victory came at a good time, hopefully we pick up form again in time to smash
