Another season, another hope and with the way the mercato went this season will hopefully be a great one. This will be a great game to start the season off since it will be a home game for us. It will be interesting to see how our newly modeled team performs with the likes of our new summer signings such as klose, cisse, cana etc. This team has really developed depth from 2 seasons ago and hopefully this season we will claim both derbies.

As we've learned in the past no team is to be taken lightly, but i'm glad we're starting the season off against chievo and not one of the bigger clubs. I have faith in this new team and think/hope this will be memorable season.

Looking forward to chatting with everyone on LF about all our upcoming matches  ..  let's toast to a new Lazio and a new season

Hopefully Klose will continue to score goals for us. He is a german machine!

I`m hoping for a third place, but I think we will end up around 4 - 5.

But this season we have to finish nr. 3 to get a chance to qualify for C.L? I think Germany has passed Italy on the UEFA club ranking.

the Possibility is there, especially for Reja to get the Max out of the squad. But what is the actual max? and can we reach that.
Dreaming of an 2d or 3rd Place finish and rocking the league, hopinge for a 4-5 finish, but also prepared toexpect a 6-7 finish.
Why?? Anyway, WE must try to get a good CB addition, to replace Biava or to have a Talent to develop and raise our depth in face of injuries or suspensions! Everything else is a very goog but noncomplete Mercato! Even the sale of Zarate would mean that by the way, if we do not get a potential replacement to link midfield with forwardline!
Otherwise I cant really see a 3rd place finish without luck (in games and form and injury cases - imagine a Injury of +3 month by Hernanes or Dias! Horror! what we gonna do then?) and a consistent topform of our players (especially who lack consistence like Biava and Mauri! And what about Stankevicious and Konko? Our right back..consistent? Or a threat to our own backline?)

So I won't get hurt, if we finish as I expected, and I will be as satisfied as last season to enjoy a nice run for CL where in the end, we did not get there, but eventually have shown, what we are capable of! But what we missed back then? One fucking point! ONE not awful defending against Napoli to let them take away our lead or ONE fucking goal we get in both matches against Juve! Especially that one by Sissoko in the 95°! So??

Dreaming of Goal Machine Cisse and German Steam Train Klose to rock the enemies house!

No Marchetti for this match - he still has to serve out a one match ban. Bizzari should be more than up to the challenge though.

milan are not that scary,
Inter Much less better,

for me, with Lugano in CB we definitely can fight for the scudetto.

We opened last season with a bitter loss against Sampdoria. Could not score a single goal in spite of clearly being the better side. I do not want to see us struggle for scoring again for the better part of the season. We have made moves in the mercato to rectify the situation so what I would like to see right from the start is goals. Admittedly I am still rather cautious about our new signings but I would like to believe if we can create chances for Klose he will score. Cannot wait until Sunday evening.

3 points are a must plus we are at home so we need to start the season well. I think with new shinings we have got from the mercato we will do well this season and go far in the europa league and even win it. Forza  lazio

I'm just hoping that we actually see this round go ahead given the impending strike action that seems, at the moment, seem likely to happen. Would be a dam shame given that we've been gearing up for this start to the season for months now.
